Now, I thought everyone knew what a Monte Cristo is. It is one of the most delicious sandwiches on the face of the planet. It has turkey, ham and cheese that's battered then deep fried, sprinkled with powdered sugar and slathered with raspberry Jam.



But my friend had never had one. Now we share them ^_^ because one sandwich is always too much! I know it sounds like an odd combination but it's like a flavor party! My fiance says he can feel his arteries start to clog when he looks at them. Bennigan's is the only place I know of that makes them.


What are some delicious but odd food combinations that you enjoy? Does it have a specific name? Do you have a recipe?

That acually sounds really good. I'm gonna go learn to make them now.

Well, I like icecream with chips, but apart from that... I don't think I eat that many unusual combinations. And that sandwich sounds quite mighty!

I first had one when I was in middle school. Mom and Dad said they were going to make monte cristo's and needed to get things for the fryer. I was like sandwich and fryer... hmmm. I love them! Now, they're obviously not an every day or every week meal heh... but every 2 months of so I start craving one...


Another odd combination I like is pickels wrapped in cream cheese and deli sliced ham. It's absolutely divine.

ahh man, the pickle surrounded by creamcheese and ham.......*drools* dam you for making me crave that... sweatdrop

Potato chips and jet puffed large marshmellows....yumm xd
