hi everybody my friend has had a problem with his clarinet embesher since he started playing some brass instrument can you tell me what happened? biggrin

well i play clarinet and it seems to me that if you played a brass instument it would take different mucles your friend might just have to start playing more clarinet or swich reeds

My band conductor refuses to let woodwinds play brass and vis versa. Playing a brass instrument takes a different set of muscles then playing a woodwond. He/she has over worked the muscles for brass and lost his embechure for his/her woodwind. Tell your friend to either drop the minor instrment or make sure to practice them both equally.
