This is the topic in which all of the ninja missions are placed for the Village Hidden in the Sound. Naturally most take place in the Rice Country although some can take place abroad when hired out that way.
All missions follow basic rules in the format system set out for them below.
Mission: (The name of the mission)
Rank: (what rank it is and who is aloud to take the mission)
type: (weather its a single mission, team mission, or both)
special requirements: (any special needs this mission might need such as bring a medic ninja if the mission is to heal someone)
Location: (The area in which the mission is taking place)
Client: (Who requested the mission)
Details: (what the mission is about and what you need to do in order to complete it)
Reward: (the reward you will get from completing the mission)
All missions have an element of the Otokages control, no other mod but he can interfere or change events as a time by time basis.
Even with this I'm allowing leniency to other members. Shinobi can interact with shinobi on a mission and even aid them in it's success but to gain the rewards for a successful mission they must be signed on officially as part of the team.
If stronger ninja interfere directly the mission ends and becomes a new mission of higher rank, That is to say that if a squad of Genin are accosted by an enemy Chunin on a D-rank mission then the mission ends, they get the half the reward for completion and the mission becomes a C-rank mission with a higher reward system.
The system of mission ranks is only a recommendation. If they feel so inclined a genin can apply for an A-rank mission and be accepted for it, they will probably fail though so it is not recommended.
To sign in on a mission send a message to Soulvar titled "Mission for Sound" detailing which mission you would like to take and with whom before you are allowed to begin.
Aftermath:
Whether a mission is successful or not it is going to be recorded. That being said the team leader is required to file a report on the mission and the events occurring during it and any relevant data afterwards. This must be done to gain any reward and bonus awards will be given out for any creative twists the players add of their own.
That is all I have to say for now on the subject. If you did not bother reading all of this then you are not fit to be a shinobi. If you did then kudos for you.

Mission: Back to School

Special Requirements: Must be able to pose as a student.
Location: Western Post Town, Rice Field Country
Client: Hitoshi Kobe
Details: The client is a well to do man that has just moved to the Rice Country. Apparently his son is being picked on in high school and he'd like to put a stop to it.
The team assigned to this mission needs to remain incognito and and spend several days among the classes as a student while preventing any bullying from taking place. Violence is to be kept to a minimum.
Reward: +3 int, +2 def

Mission:It's Only Illegal If You Get Caught

Location: Eastern Post Town, Rice Field Country (see details)
Client: Leader of the Black Talons
Details: We have a rather large shipment of drugs coming in and have some worries about the safety of the package considering the amount. We require a team of shinobi as an escort for the traffickers to keep them out of jams and moving under the radar of local law enforcement.
This assignment has a large factor of unknowns and has the potential and can quickly progress in rank.
The escort system has to begin in the land of waves and end at our organization within the Rice Country.
Reward: +10 nin, +5 str,

Mission: Botany Is Fun!

Location: Medicinal Greenhouse, Village Hidden in the Sand
Client: Northern Feudal Lord
Details: The Client is a rather wealthy individual with a passion for botany. Apparently he has been searching for a plant known as the Krawejen, a small blue leafed tree that is extremely rare and long lived. Suna has refused to relinquish the tree for any sum of money he has offered, that's where we come in.
The mission is to liberate the tree from the Sand Village by any means necessary, negotiation or otherwise. The tree is to be given to the Feudal Lord alive and unharmed in anyway or the mission will have failed completely.
Reward: +10 int, +5 spd, +5 def, +5 E-points

Mission: She's Such A b***h!

Location: Konoha
Client: Eastern Feudal Lord
Details: Apparently the Eastern Feudal Lord has been having some trysts while abroad, one of these seems to have been with an ANBU kunoichi from Konohakure. This girl seems to have kept several items of his and mementos of the encounter.
It would be very embarrassing for the exact nature of the relationship to get out to the public and he wants everything possible done to prevent this.
The mission is this. Recover all evidence of the affair, assassinate the kunoichi, escape. The death can not be linked back to the Feudal Lord or Otokure. If you get caught you're on your own.
Reward: +20 nin, +15 str, +10 tai, +6 int, +10 E-points

Mission: One Day Darling

Special Requirements: One of the team members must be a kunochi
Location: Northern Feudal Lords Mansion, Rice Field Country
Client: Northern Feudal Lord
Details: The Northern Feudal Lord plans to unveil a new energy conservation device to improve his economy further. For some reason he seems to think that during his unveiling the device will be stolen and he will be assassinated.
What this mission entails is an escort and guard service, a kunochi will pose as the lords date while the remainder of the team will pose as party goers to check for suspicious activity. Should something happen you should take care of the problem as best you can while sending for back up.
Reward: +10 def, +5 spd, +2 E-points,

Location: Southern Post Town, Rice Field Country
Client: Southern Feudal Lord
Details: The Southern Feudal Lord has asked for our help in harvesting the rice this year. Apparently water vipers have taken the field as their home and are hospitalizing workers and slowing the harvesting to an almost complete stop. He is asking for a team of ninja to help harvest since they will be less prone to the snakes. This mission does have slight risks, the water vipers are extremely difficult to detect and are highly venomous. You should keep an eye out for them and additional merits will be awarded for dispatching any.
Reward: +2 int, +2 spd, additional rewards on # of water vipers killed
