She's interesting. My fiance introduced me to her about 3 years ago when we were freshman. I think it's entertaining that she basically created the "violindustrial" genre. biggrin

She is so amazing. It's so hard to get her cd's though, I ordered it from the UK and it's taking like a month. So frustrating rolleyes
I can't say what my favorite song is though. It changes every week. THis week it's "Let the Record Show"
EA is the best, I don't know how anyone could not like her.

Oh, my. I'd never heard of her before this guild, and now I'm hooked. "Shalott"is magnificent! It's off to Rasputin for me.
And I just looked at the list of her songs on Battered Rose-- she covered Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots?! That makes me grin like an idiot. I wanna hear that.

I finally bought an album! (Ophieliac) I was a bit shocked at how expensive they ran. But I got a good deal on it I think.

This is how my day went:
It starts raining. (Yay!)
My dad decides to take me to Rasputin so's I can get out of the house.
(This is long after I have given up on ever finding an EA CD off the net)
What is in the Alt/Rock section but Opheliac!
On the way home, my dad decides to put it on in the car, because I'm ranting about how awesome she is.
I'm terrified Dad will hate her.
Opheliac plays.
My Dad: "This is pretty cool. I just picked up a CD of this band called The Dresden Dolls, you should check them out."
Best. Reaction. Ever.

Awesome! It's nice to know I'm not the only one who can swap music with their parents. heart I think EA would have to grow on my Dad because he's only heard bits when he happened to walk in when I was listening to her and wasn't impressed. I think it could grow on him.
Other than that we share stuff all the time. The most shocking thing he got me into was HIM. rofl
