Okay, I've been wanting to play Final Fantasy for a long, long time but which game am I supposed to play first?! I've heard that I should try FFV then FFVII but I'm confused! Oh, this is for PS2 by the way...thank you! heart

There really isn't any sort of order. The games are all separate from eachother, so you can pick up any of them and just start playing.

If you have a PS2 you can play almost every Final Fantasy. It just depends on which one youd like to play most, really.
You can play the original Final Fantasy or Final Fantasy II with FF:Origins.
You can play Final Fantasy IV with FF:Chronicles
You can play Final Fantasy V or Final Fantasy VI with FF:Anthology
You can play FFVII.
You can play FFVIII.
You can play FFIX.
You can play FFX.
You can play FFX-2.
You can play FFXII.
You can play FF:Tactics.
You can play FFVII biggrin irge of Cerberus.
The only ones you cant play via the PS2 are FFIII, FFXI(I think...), FF:Crystal Chronicles, and FFVII:Before Crisis.

Thats the only one that has eluded me because Im too stubborn to buy it. But that may change now that I have a mall gift card. ninja Oh, and I dont have BC because I dont know Japanese and I dont have a Japanese cell phone. xd
