Saw it in the theater, liked it, still like it. I thought the ghosts were the best part.

13 Ghosts was the movie that got me into horror films.

I've seen them both and I actually liked the remake better.
The ghosts are more involved with the new one. I thought they were much scarier. I also found the acting to be better in the new one, for most of the characters anyway. In my opinion Tony Shaloub did a good job with the lead role, it made me a fan of his.
And I thought it was great how they did bios on all the ghosts for the DVD. It's worth getting the DVD just for that.
