Yay Winter Solstice! It's almost a perfectly symbolic day for it... heavy fog here, as if in a watery realm of transience... just as the darkness of now represents in-between times.

Really?? We had that last night, too. I got lost in it trying to find my friend's graduation party.

Covered a good section of the midwest yesterday. Was rather fun to drive in to get home for the holidays. I've driven in fog before, but not for such a long time. It was a bit disorienting. Felt sorry for the folks who missed their exits. Fog is gone now and replaced with snow. Lots and lots of snow.
Which is preventing me from going to the Winter Solstice celebration I wanted to be at right now. xd

the solstice was good for us, we had got to go to a concert at a church, the veteran's for peace. i only ever celebrate yule in my mind, we're always too busy preparing for christmas... sweatdrop but we had some fog here too, though not thick enough to be a problem. it was kinda cool. smile
