how many can you play in a song?? so far i have 4 crash symbols, suspended symbols, wind chimes, and claves... how many can you play?

my best was
crash cymbals ,ride cymbal, jembe' ( sp?), claves, sizzle simble, chakirea, shaker, barrel drums, trash can, anvil(break drum), snare, bass, triangle, gong, chimes, wind chimes, bongos and congas

Well, my show back during my sophomore year we had very few players so everyone played different things. I played the bass drum, snare, three toms, a tam-tam ("mini-gong"), break drum, suspended, ride, and crash cymbals, and near the begining I had a xylophone and hand drum part. I can't remember what kind it was because the cold weather made them sound very low. I think that was the year we did a kind of remake of "Welcome to the Jungle" as our opener. Either way, I just remember it was awesome having a guitarist play in the front ensemble with us. ^_^

my drumline actually had a battle about that. I think Nick won by successfully playing 3 marimba parts + triangle + cymbals + cow bell + bass drum
O.o considering the complexity of the song I still don't know how he did that...

My best was 3 suspended cymbals, one sizzle cymbal, a china cymbal, wind chimes, 3 toms, concert bass, and tam-tam.
