Hello, PPS!
Tonight is the Christmas Prom. I'm going with two friends of mine and it sure is gonna be a lot of fun. BUT I'M SO NERVOUS!! It's three o'clock and I get more nervous every second. gonk I'm wearing a suit-like outfit (silver top, black pants, black blazer) and I'm afraid I'm the only girl (except for one of my friends) who doesn't wear a dress.
So, PPS, could you please give me your courage? lol

Female suits show just as much if not more class than dresses. Some women in suits are taken more seriously. 3nodding

Don't worry about being the only one not wearing a dress! If it makes you feel better, I haven't worn a dress since preschool. (Only 10 years wink ) Even to the school dances. 3nodding

A girl suit is just as classy as a dress. Do not worry. And if someone says something snarky, kick them. At least you can kick with pants on. cool

It'll be fun, don't worry about it, and tell us what happened when you get back!

Thanks, guys.
The prom was soooooo much fun. I didn't dance, but I did laugh and chat a lot with friends.
My friends and I had bought ice tea but at the end of the night we were so random it felt like we had bought something else. lol
Unfortunately my crush wasn't there, but I did have a chat with other guys, including one of my old classmates and a cute eight grader. lol There were some bad moments, though. One guy was acting way too friendly to one of my friends and we eventually left because we didn't feel very comfortable around him.
When hiding from the scary guy I told one of my friends who I have a crush on. She didn't seem to mind much and just told me she thought it was a nice guy.
Anyway, it was a pleasant night out. Thanks again for the advice/courage/help.
EDIT: Oh, yeah, and there was this bitchy girl who had drunk too much and had to be brought to her parents' car by some teachers. She sure is in trouble. rolleyes

Asashina OMG seriously? eek Did she sneak alcohol into the dance or something? eek eek Dude, that's awesome! rofl When you're 16 or older and in tenth grade you're allowed to drink alcohol at the prom. She had obviously drunk too much.
