So at the beginning of this week or so, I decided to make peanut butter cookies for the first time in my life, using an intarweb recipe. So I do it, and the dough ends up way too dry, but I make the damn cookies anyway. They come out hard as rocks -- not that bad, but hard as rocks. Next time I need a wetter recipe!
So... What are some of your cooking blunders from the past?

Heh heh, Flapjacks! I'm hopeless at Putting the Oats into the pan, most 'Escape'. Once I made the Flapjacks too thin, placed them in an Oven that was too hot, and for too long. I'm certain they had an 'Ashen' look, smile .

Sounds like they might not have tasted too nice, either, I imagine... xD

He destroyed my life...
Hm, lets see. Well they are not so much as distasters because they were still nice. I made cookies once, but I wanted to colour them Blue. Well the turned out green and no one would eat them. (All the more for me blaugh ) I tried making black cakes once too. They ended up purple on the inside, black on the outside and the part in the cup cake on the outside looked a mouldey green. >_< They still tasted great.
Ok, one complete mess up of cooking.. I was drunk, but it's still funny. My brother come home late one night and asked for some food. I knew there was no way I could walk with dignity so I waited for him to go, after which I stumbled into the kitchen. I decided that because Spag Bog was his favourite, I would make him that. Only it didn't end up that way. The finished result was a mix of, Spag Bog, Chilli Con Carni and Salmon! sweatdrop My brother still ate it and said it was nice. (Not that I would touch it because I hate fish)
In the end, because I had made WAY too much, the dog ate it in the garden.
Now I will destroy him.
