I've realized I have a severe addiction. It's causing me to be unable to focus on things that I have to do, like my summer reading and art and the like. It's causing me to stay up late at night until I nearly pass out because I can't control myself.

The addiction I have is the internet. It may not be a physical addiction, but it is indeed a mental one, and I don't have enough self-control to tell myself when it's time to log off.

Last night I was going to do some meditation before bed(this was aroundmidnight), but the computer was just too tempting, I ended up on another message board until 7am! At around 2am I had decided it was time to log off, but dispite that I ended up staying on until past dawn!

As you can see my addiction is pretty bad, and I really need to get myself together.


I will still set up the avvie contest on the 20th, but I'm gonna try to use the internet only a minimal amount for a little while. I'll still check up here every now and then, but it's not like I'm going to be hanging out here every 2 seconds like I was before.

I ask that the mods please check the new user requests at least every few days.

So, please don't worry about me, I won't be dead, I'll just be trying to do somthing constructive with my time. Not that Gaia isn't great, I just need to learn a little self-control...

I spent nearly the whole day offline today! w00t!

I managed to make this really cool Gothic Lolita shirt and skirt set(well... the skirt is half-finished... I gotta run out to Joannes sometime and get some buttons for it), and meditate, and read(I read almost a whole book... but it wasn't one of my summer reading books... but 'tis a good book nonetheless), and do some crystal healing on my aunts dog... woah... I didn't realize it was possible to do that much in a day! eek

I must get back into my sewing hobby... 'tis fun! ^^

I must log off now (yay! I'm showing some signs of self-control!) I'll hopefully check up on da guild in a few days.

I congratulate thee on your self- checking. Its really hard for me to get off the net, but i dont spend more then 3 hours online anyways. I get yelled at to get off by my parents. >_<;; . Be cool, stay in school, and dont cut yourself PERIOD! .... wait, now I feel like a hypocrite.... sweatdrop
