Does anyone here know how Bartolini compares with EMG? im just wondering because i havent been able to find any comparisons

I believe barts have a much warmer, fatty, sound then EMG ,which are a bright and punchy. Don't quote me on that one, I've never hurd barts befor, but I'm prity sure that's what they are like.

the true sound comes from your fingers... so pickups... eh
bartolinis are better than EMGs I believe... but it's all a matter of preference

It's taste. The Bart's are higher end pickups and do have a wider, warmer tone to them. but being a metal bassist I go for the EMG's for their punch and tone.
