ok, so i came out of the closets cuz i thought it was to a friend that i could trust to not care. WRONG! she freaked out! funny as it was it was kinda annoying. but she's not so cool with gays/bis/lesbians. i mean, she's fallen for my friend, whose explained that he's gay (and acts like it so much) but she still likes him. now, being that we're still young teens, should i classify my friend as a homophobe, or as imature?

Immature first. Might think you have a crush on her and doesn't want you kissing her and stuff.
Homophobic second, as not understanding much about being bisexual or gay or lesbian. She likes the guy because of the yaoi on one side, girly men types as well most likely, not really caring what kind of person someone is, just going by stereotype. This is all a maybe.

I'd mainly go with imature and that is what my friends also says. ^_^ nothing wrong with that. I did that to my friend and well Same thing happened here. no worries.

i would say niether. homophobe sounds so definite, while imature sounds like you can grow out of it. i'd say ignorant, not in a mean or bad way. no two people see through the same eyes, not everyone can understand you, even your closest friend or family member. its not bad, just life at its truest.

i agree with pinkie up there^^(fake_lovie) she's just ignorant for the time being. she probably thinks its a phase with the gentleman, and doesn't want you to"go to hell" as one other person said, though i don't remember who...

well, she's forgotten, or acted like she's forgotten. that's cool. i mean, it's better than her just acting like she doesn't understand. she's still kinda in denial that anyone could be gay, but that's ok. i mean, at least she's not freaking out over it anymore.
