do the rape scene from Streetcar Named Desire. It is so much fun in schools. It might not be as cool without the director showing the Stanley how to make it look real but still.

Shocks_dumb_cohort ok please remember no love scenes...i'm an actor but i don't fancy making out with a female co star in front of the exam board the rape scene is definatly not a love scene. rape and love are very different. it is very tense and shows you can get into and stay in character easily.

Othello is a great play. Pyramus and Thysby is another option, 12th Night, A Midsummernight's Dream, all good choices. Choose your adaptations wisely, though. You never know whose going to be offended by "Hamlet in the 'Hood". xp

(sorry, I'm in mode) How about Noises Off? You can cram in a lot of complex dialogue with a scene from that...

Erm if you fancy your hand at some scottish accents (i dont know where your from so I dont know how easy you could get hold of this) a good play for a female cast is "The Steamie" by Tony Roper. It features 4 female roles and one male role. It is hilariously funny and has a few musical numbers which can be removed without effecting the running of the play... you should give it a look. I did it for part of my higher exam.
