mad This just pissed me off and made Lee seem so lame.
Lee drinks Elixir and gets Loopy? stare
I could have sworn that they could say sake.
With translations like this its no wonder that we had a year of "Believe it".

CornBreadtm mad This just pissed me off and made Lee seem so lame. Lee drinks Elixir and gets Loopy? stare I could have sworn that they could say sake. With translations like this its no wonder that we had a year of "Believe it". Topic: The worst U.S. Naruto translations I know that made me mad too when I found out they changed the translation and the new voice actors are horrible.

I would simply like to state that certain countries are a bit more....free with the words they use and other countries aren't. I believe the reason the translation was so drastically changed is that young children might watch the show, and they didn't want to give off any thing impressionable that is worse than what they already have. I never watched the episodes with Rock Lee getting the drunken fist in American, so I know nothing of the translation or voice actors.

That's what happens when you put Naruto on CN, and not Adult Swim. They won't say for a kids show 'He drank alchohol and became a master of the drunken fist'...........Get over it....

I agree 100% with Nephite. However, I did laugh my a** off when I heard their oh-so-predictably-terrible edit. And I continue to do so whenever Lee goes "LOOPY" on my Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 3 game.
