-Magda- Name: Magda Sung-Ji Gender: Female Age: 8 D.o.B.: October 27th Family: Father - Liu Sung-Ji Mother - Carmella Sung-Ji Magda's family lived a prosperous life in the region of Politics Uppers. Spoiled with lavishness and the absence of want, all she's known is the pampered lifestyle of a wealthy member of society. Her mother, a fickle, cold and sickly woman, died soon after her 2nd birthday. Her father is somewhat similar in his blank and emotionless manner of living. Uninterested in his hush-hush business dealings and long absences from the home, she pretty much accepted him as a form of authority rather than a loving protector or friend.
Through recent events however, Magda has found her blase existence turned upside-down by the horrific destruction of a significant section of Uppers. Buildings and landmarks she'd once taken for granted now lay in ruin merely feet from her former doorstep. Now forced to live in a communal shelter near ground zero, her lavish lifestyle has been replaced by tiring upset. Unable to locate her father (not that she's too concerned) and left to the care of a single, nameless aide from her former household, she desperately clings to the fantasy world of lace and ribbons, cleanliness and comfort.Physical appearance: A thin, spindly little girl of chinese heritage. Her hair is black, long and loosely falls in a straight manner. Her eyes are a smokey grey, her face delicately angled with a small nose and soft features of her youth.Personality: Harsh and critical for such a young girl. She's very delicate in her manners but treats others cruelly in a distrustful and suspicious manner. Very spoiled and snobby with a sharp tongue and a clever mind.Likes: Her teddy bear Lubu, the company of others (even those she hates), reading, playing games with Lubu.Dislikes: The rain (being wet in general), the cold, loud noises, cats, crying (or anything that makes her cry, for that reason)

-Horus- A falcon streaks across the sky...Horus is one of the most ancient deities of the Ancient Egyptian religion. Often depicted as a falcon, a falcon-headed man or a falcon-headed lion, Horus' name (in Egyptian, Heru) means "Far off" or "The distant one". The son of Osiris and Isis, and god of the sky, he is closely associated with the Pharaoh of Upper Egypt and was regarded as their patron.
He has many forms, a common one being Mekhenti-irry (He who has Two Eyes). In this form the sun and moon represent his eyes, and he was considered the god of the blind. A common belief is that during a new moon Horus became blinded and often violently attacked friend and foe in a confused rage.Osiris, Set and the battle for Egypt...Originally, the story begun where Seth (brother of Osiris) was jealous of Osiris and fought him to the death. After he killed Osiris he cut his body up into 14 pieces and spread the pieces throughout Egypt. Isis (Osiris' wife), after finding out that her husband had been killed, searched throughout Egypt for his body parts. She found all but one (his p***s) and using her powers, put the pieces back together. After manufacturing a replacement for the lost piece, she proceeded to impregnate herself with it. She gave birth to Horus who became the god of the sky and later avenged his fathers death by killing his uncle Seth.
This battle was originally a metaphor for the conquest of Lower Egypt by Upper Egypt in about 3000BC. In this tale, it was said that Set, the patron of Lower Egypt, and Horus, the patron of Upper Egypt, had battled for Egypt brutally with neither side victorious, until eventually the gods sided with Horus.
During the struggle Set was said to have lost a testicle explaining why the desert, which Set represented, is infertile.
Horus' right eye, which represented the moon, had also been gouged out during the fight which explained why the moon is so weak in strength and luminosity compared to the sun.The Eye of HorusThe Eye of Horus (previously known as Wadjet and the Eye of the Moon or Sun; and afterward as The Eye of Ra) is an ancient Egyptian symbol of protection and royal power from deities, in this case from Horus or Ra. The markings are said to resemble a peregrine falcon's eye, and are often associated with other Egyptian gods such as Hathor, Bast and Mut.
The ancients believed this symbol of indestructibility would assist in rebirth. The Eye of Horus was found under the twelfth layer of bandages on the mummy of Tutankhamun.Associations: The living Pharaoh, rulers in general, law, war, light, the sun

-The grand scheme of things- Its simple, really. Common sense. Who else is fit to lead the world into a dynasty of prosperity and strength? Who else is worthy?
I am the God of the sky, the sun, the moon, all that lays above the earth in a veil of crystal colour and brightness. Its is I who brings fruitfulness to this land. I am a prince awaiting his position of power, patient and calculating.
I am the King of Kings.
She is young but she is but a vessel of a soul much older than she is aware of. Her mind is sharp, cunning. Like a bird of prey she quietly observes the world; silently evaluating, reflecting, judging it all. She will make a fine leader.
We will.
I conquered battles which my own father had lost. The Gods smile upon my victories. I am the one true Pharaoh.

-A short note on abilities- The primary aspect would have to be Magda's association to the falcon. Besides having obvious features of the bird, the ability to turn into one is possible as one of Horus' common forms was an actual peregrine falcon in flight. Affiliation with the sun would possibly lead to abilities to control it, though that would definetly be a power requiring skill, concentration and experience. (Forced solar eclipse? Absolute absence of daytime? Extreme drought/summer conditions?) More ideas to come...
