Great online game, I urge all members with a PS3 to pick up this excellent online shooter, Show epic that they have a base on the PS3...

And also get the chance to send me home in a match box. surprised

Remember, my PSN is Part-time-Viking

It does have a campaign mode, presumably single player, but many on the internet are claiming that this mode is really only used as a tutorial for the multiplayer mode.

Isn't that true for most shooters?

That is pretty much what the single player is, Epic makes a pretty feeble attempt at a story mode, nice looking cutscenes, and unlocking armor is cool, but there isn't much drive to it.

Not necessarily, joking aside. Some games could be argued to be made for their single player campaigns, with multiplayer thrown on afterwards. Resistance comes to mind. So does Portal, from the Orange Box, which I'm pretty sure is single player.

I used to be pretty bad at FPS's, but I've gotten better. Not good enough to dare to wander into random online games, but better...

the online side of the game(my opinion) isnt really a tutorial.. just another mode to mess around in.. yeah i think part time viking said it, but its basically the same thing as resistance.. except a completely different campaign type. not war based.. well, eh. but its still a neat game
