Talare fell back against the warm sands with a giggle, wrapping her arms around the broom she'd been using to help oil the large bronze flank. "Oh my.." she muttered to herself. Her arms ached from holding them above her head for such a long period of time, never the less she smiled and ignored the sensaion. Her little green flit seemed unaware that anything was giong on at all, having settled back around her neck and burried her head in the nape of Talare's neck.
The journy woman sighed softly and looked up at the might bronze. Her tunic was badly stained from oil drops that had rained down upon her from her messy job. Her fingers itched and she found herslef squirming a bit, a tune forming in her head. The raven haired woman brke down and pulled out her pipes from the carry pouch at her hip.
Her lithe fingers danced along the smooth wooden surface, a merry tune taht danced like the sparkling sunlight across the ocean waves. Talare closed her blue eyes as she played, feeling herself getting lost in the tune, a conduate, an instrament herself being played by her muse.

Dalron wandered outside, after spending the past few days almost cmopletely indoors he was desperate for some fresh air. He streched his arms up above his head as he walked, listening to the delicious cracking of his back. A happy sigh escaped his lips as he rested his hands at the base of his neck. His steps paused as he heard light notes dancing through the air. He listened to it and started humming a quiet harmony. It was a lovely tune. He continued his walking, intent upon finding it's scorce. His brown curls bounced as his step matched the song's pace.

The litle Green upon her shoulder slowly began to stir as the music seemed to draw her from her sleep. With laugher in her eyes, Talare continued to play the delightful melody as the healer and dragon rider talked amungst themselves.
The lithe tail wrapped itself delicately around her slender neck, and every now and then would tighten to ensure its grip. As the little tune reached its climax, Kamui slowly opened and eye. The top of her tail keeping time against Talare's throat.
The harper could only smile as her fingers danced along the pipe holes. The sun was sparkling merrily over the sea and she was so enthrawled by all of this that she scarcely saw the young man come into veiw. She closed her somber blue eyes as the song came to a close, with the last note wavering on into silence, only broken by the crashing waves along the shore.
It was then that Talare seemed to be thrust back into reality. She opened her eyes, a faint blush risnig to her cheeks as she noticed she had an audiance. "Oh, Greetings Friend." she quickly stammered and clamored to her feet, much to the dismay of the little green who squacked her disapproval.

Dalron continued his hummed harmony to the end of her tune, smiling and applauding her as she finished. "Greetings" He chuckled warmly at the familiar squack of her green. His own blue was just the same when disturbed. Dalron ran a hand through his hair, pushing it back from his face. "That was beautiful, You're quite talented." He complimented her with a polite bow. His brown eyes sparkled as he approached to a more comfortable distance from her.

Talare smiled softly and nodded. "Why thank you Kind stranger." She giggled softly and tucked her pipe away before offering her slender hand to the man before her. "Im Talare, and who might you be?" Her smiled was pleasnt as the sea wind wipped through her hair. "What brings you out this way? Although it does seem a fine day to enjoy the ocean. " She nodded a bit to herself and chuckled. Catching sight at the state of her attire she blushed softly. She looked a right mess! Oil from the broom and Bronze dragon alike speckled her harper blue tunic and leggings. Sand Stuck to her in placed and to the oil on her cheeks as well. Her long raven tresses where pulled back in a messy pony tail that was quickly undoing itself. "Pardon my look" she said with a laugh. "but I was helping to Oil that Bronze other there..." Talare gestured to the healter woman and rider off in the distance...both of them seeming to have come out much cleaner than she had.
The light blush deepened on Talare's lightly tanned cheeks. Cleaning her throat lightly she glanced back at the stranger. "Heh..." The journey woman had found herself at a loss for words.

Dalron took her hand and shook it. "Hello Talare, I'm Dalron." He returned her smile. " I needed a break from the noise of the weyr and a bit of fresh air. Today is a nice day to visit." He nodded in agreement, taking a deep breath of the salty wind. He glanced over at the dragon and it's rider as she spoke nodding, my those things got large! His eyes lingered for a moment before returning to her and giving her a quick glance as she apologised for her appearance. He chuckled and waved nonchalantly. "Don't worry about it. A bit of sand'll clean that right up. " Even with the oil spots Dalron approved of the harper blue clothes. The tunic almost matched his own though his trousers were brown. His own hair only a bit windtossed as he kept raking it back into place in a subconsious gesture of his hand.

Talare could only smile, as she often found herself doing. Lightly her lithe hands found her hips, her blue eyes glancing over the oceans gently crashing waves. "Tis a nice day, To be certain." she nodded. "Did you study at the Harper hall as well?" she asked with a tilt of her head, as she quickly pulled her messy hair free from the bond of its tie. "I dont recall seeing you there..." the young woman smiled again, his age was hard to guess...he could have been before her time or perhaps after, he had his charm never the less.

Dalron nodded a wry smile on his face. "I was there for a while. I stuck to my lessons most of the time." He gazed out at the ocean as he thought of his time there. He had liked it. It was the best 5 turns of his life for sure. "What did you study there?" He asked her after a moments silence.

Talare chuckled softly, She had never really been much of a social bug herself but she had guessed she'd spent more time out in the yards and gathers with friends than this lad had during his stay. A smiled crossed her face as she remembered those hard lessons, how her fingers ached as she'd strumed the lute and burned as her lithe fingers gradually became more flexable over the strings and holes of the instrments. "Im fair with alot of the instraments, But im best on the pipes. My voice is not the best around, but I can carry on a solo at true pitch. And you Sir, What did you study while at the hall?"

Dalron watched the memories cross her mind, he couldn't read them of course but he figured they were pleasant by the smile on her face. He missed the hall, It was the most comfortable place he'd ever remembered. With the hard work his master put on his he had had littel time to get into mischief and had dried the old habits right out of his system. "So I heard, You were lovely. I was in the male choir, a tenor. I can coax a melody out of a stringed instument but am mediocre at best with pipes." He grinned at her happily, It was nice to have something in common to chatter about.

Talare chuckled softly and smiles. "Oh It would be lovely to play with someone else for once. Have you a Lute or Harp with you? Even back at the weyr?" Talare was surprised at herself, she hadnt thought she was this starved for the music of the harpers, the meldoies they could play together. She sighed happily, running her fingers through her windswept hair.

Dalron was a bit shocked at the querie. "ah, Yes! I do. Back at the weyr" He pointed behind him at the direction he had come from. He then mimicked her gesture unconsiously, pushing his hai out of his face. "I'd love to play with you, do you want to go now or wait till later?"

Talare glanced at the healer and Dragon rider, whom where currently engaged in conversation. She chuckled softly and glanced back at the young harper before her. "We can go now if you like." She smiled brightly and glanced down at her soiled tunic. "besides, I could use the excuse to change into something more suitable."

Dalron nodded. "I would like that very much." He stepped sideways and gave her a sweeping bow, pointing both his arms int he direction of the weyr. "Shall we then?" He smiled up at her before straightening from his bow.

Caleten stood staring at the weyr in the distance, she was finally back. In her time away, the only change was that she now had a good amount of clothing, new too. Her number of friends had grown and changed.
Walking on her right side, a grown up Dem'or, trotting happily and looking around. He now had a blue length of cloth around his neck and he was at his adult size with a healthy, lustrous coat.
On her shoulder sat the newest addition, a golden flit named Gem. The flit at a marking from her eye to her wing joint very similar to Caleten's own scar. Along with that, she had stripes along her back and was a very lovely shade of gold. The little female was nearly fully grown. Gem sat with a cool prideful posture on her accustom perch on Caleten's shoulder.
Caleten was back to find out more about her friend, such as how much bigger she was going to get, and to gain a constant supply of oil for her soft skin. Many people had already given her odd looks, a holdless wonder with a gold was not something people saw everyday in the north. No one could take gem from her now, so they could talk all they wanted as far as she was concerend. A gold fitted her and they complemented each other very well.
