The 1st 5 issues of Donna Barr's "The Desert Peach" are now available as free PDF downloads online!
The comic started pretty innocent and silly, about the Desert Fox--Erwin Rommel's--pretty, gay younger brother in the Afrika Corps in WWII. These 1st 5 issues can be downright hilarious at times. ***Issue 3 is a tad naughty. smile (Guys running around on the beach nekkies, though only one picture shows full frontal as the character gets tired of the artist hiding his bits.) The series gets progressively more serious and dark later on, but this early part of the run is nearly all a big joke about Col.Pfirisch Rommel and his ladylike command of a rowdy, scroungy battalion of misfits in Africa. Downloads are here. I've enjoyed this series for years, even to the dark and grim issues. These first five are some of my favorites though, full of the innocence that the war will wear away over time.

Well this thread is going to die real quick if it's just about doctor who comics, because there simply aren't that many, unfortunately... We could make it a general webcomic plus doctor who and stick it in chatty kathy, that's probably the best thing to do.

So er, yeah. Webcomics.
Best ones around I know are:
1. Explosm (http://www.explosm.net/) Very random, and more often than not very funny. Not suitable for younger ages though, because some of the comics are a bit... rude.
2. PBF (http://pbfcomics.com/) ... same as above really.
3. Saturday Morning Breakfast Cereal (http://www.smbc-comics.com/) ... and again, same as above. Very random and funny, though occasionally a tad rude.
4. White Ninja (http://www.whiteninjacomics.com/) er... ... .. hard to explain. So random it rarely makes sense, but kind of amusing in a... not making sense sort of a way.
5. ctrl alt del (http://www.cad-comic.com/archives.php) I haven't been through those but apparantly they're good. Older stuff is better than new, according to some relaible sources.
I'll check out those Doctor Who ones in a sec, they sound really good! thanks for the links.
