 Red paws drifted across the bark of the fallen tree. An equally red body attempted to hide itself in between the trees. The moon on the Numa's hide was dull, his other side was sleeping lightly in the back of his mind. He had learned to accept himself for what he was. A split person. One but not. Two voices in one body. His tail twitched lightly. It was chilly in the Gumdrop forest. The chocolate bark of the tree came off under his nails. Licking his nose, Anala stalked the quiet wood as if he owned it.
Suddenly, a slight breeze wafted a strange scent into his nose. Another Numa. And this one too was alone. He smelled sweet almost. Smiling to himself, Anala leaped from the fallen tree and followed his nose to try to find the other Numa. He was feeling a little bit...lonely. Such an unpleasent feeling.

 A blue Numa made his way through the Gumdrop forest. It was his first time out in the forest by himself. He was fairly new and grown, he had never been out before til this day. Nothing eventful had happened until the sky started to turn dark, he stopped, realizing he wasn't sure of where he was. The blue Numa with almost gray scales sighed and kept walking, hoping to figure his way out of the forest.
He had been walking for a while until he heard a twig snap. He stopped, wondering who, or what it could be, hoping it was a friendly Numa who could help him out. He made a mental note of trying to learn this forest better before wandering into it next time.

Anala lifted his head from the soft earth as soon as the smell of the other Numa was overwhelming. He was staring at a beautiful blue male who looked utterly lost. He sat on his haunches and wrapped his tail around himself to protect him from the chill wind that was blowing through the trees. The moon on his flank remained cold and lifeless. The "other" Anala was still sleeping. The other Numa didn't look at Anala right away so he decided to forcably grab his attention.
"Hello?" he called out in a silky voice, "Are you...lost?" His eyes were kind as he gazed at the other.

The blue Numa had still been wandering, his senses seemed almost over loaded with all the smells of the forest, though he had thought he had smelt something different. He started his wandering in that direction, hoping it was another Numa, someone to help him find his way. He stopped when he heard movement to one of his sides and he heard the other's almost silky voice. He blinked and then turned his head.
"Ummm, yeah, I am a bit lost..." He smiled a little nervously, looking at the Red Numa.

Anala smiled cheerfully. He got a calm, warm vibe from this male. He could be trusted. "I can show you th way "out," Anala laughed sitting on his haunched with his head tilted to the side and his bright eyes closed in a friendly manner, "but really, why would you want to leave just yet? This place is peaceful and beautiful at the same time. It almost takes your breath away..." Anala drifted off into slence as he opened his eyes and stared blankly off in the distance. The moon on his flank blinked once and then became lifeless once again.
Anala shook his head in order to clear his thoughts and focus on the blue male. "Oh introductions!" he yelped jumping back to his paws, "I am Anala. I hope you don't mind me acting a little odd at times. You see I have this problem with....split personality...well, what's your name?" He was swift to turn the subject to the other male. He was a bit shocked at the fact he had just spilled his darkest curse to a stranger. He smiled warmly to try to cover his mistake.

Drathir smiled back at the other Numa. His smiled widened a bit when the other said he could help him out. He sat down as well, and blinked at the other's question. "Well I don't really have a problem with the forest, it is quite amazing.... I just wanted to find a way out because I've never been in here before." He watched the moon on the other and cocked his head to the side, wondering what that had been about.
He looked back up when the other shook his head. "Nice to meet you Anala, I am Drathir, you could call me Drath if you like." Drath didn't say anything when the other spoke about his dual personality, seeing how he had changed the subject. He just smiled and nodded, keeping the thought in the back of his mind.

"Drathir," Anala said as if he were tasting the name, "Drathir. Drath... I like it!" He took a moment to rub an itch on his tail before turning his bright, firey amber eyes onto Darthir. "Does your name have any special meaning? Mine is blood moon." He puffed out his chest proudly. The moon began to softly glow again. Anala's proud expression faded swiftly. His other side was laughing at him. "Why be proud of such a silly name?" his other side laughed silently inside his mind.

Drathir nodded as the other spoke his name. "Thanks, I like it too, it is my name after all.." He watched the other itch his tail, scratching behind his own ear for a moment. Drath blinked when the other said what his name meant, watching hi reaction. He chuckled a bit. "Mine actually means moon in drow, funny huh!" He watched the other's expression change suddenly, wondering what was going on in Anala's mind.

Anala shok the blank yet saddened expression from his features and plastered on a smile. "Sorry, I blanked out," Anala explained. The moon on his flank glowed bright. His other side laughed at him silently. Anala did the best to hide what was happening inside of him. "I'm sorry," Anala laughed nervously again.
Stirring to the surface of the shared body, Anala's other side took over. "Still weak as ever Anala. Greetings, I am Aman, the stronger side of Anala. Drathir, what brought you here in the first place?" Anala's very pose changed with the unveiling of the deeper growling voice.

Drathir watched Anala blank out, then smile suddenly. "No problem..." He stopped his sentence short and watched the moon the the other's flank glow. "Is that normal?" Drath blinked as he heard him speak, sounding different this time. "Greetings to you as well Aman. I was exploring a bit and got lost." He wondered how normal it was for Anala to change.

Aman's errie laughter echoed in the trees. "You're more of a wimp than dear Anala!" he roared in mocking laughter, "I like you!" He started to move seductavily closer to Drath, his tail swishing from side to side in a slow arc.
"Stop! Stop! No! Bad!" Anala cried silently from inside. He had to admit, Drathir was very cute, but he didn't want to press any feelings on the powder blue male. "Why?" Aman asked, more aloud than he'd like. He stopped and stared at Drath's eyes with a more curious expression forming on his features. As Anala explained, it looked like the shared body blanked out again.

Drathir grinned at Aman's laugh, then blinked at his exclamation. "I'm a wimp because I got lost....huh." His eyes widened a bit and almost blushed at the other's words. "Wwhaat-" he stammered a bit when Aman moved closer to him. He kept silent as the other seemed to be arguing with himself, not wanting to get in the way. Drath blinked and looked away when Aman seemed to stare at him and blank out again.
