I am a Non- Denomenational Christian, although my mother's family was mainly Presbyterian. We stopped going to church when I was two, but was still baptized when I was two months old.
She didn't like how the church was treating her, so we stopped going. I did go to Sunday service with my grandparents when I stayed at their house on weekends.
I still believe in Jesus Christ and God, and have read the Book of Genesis and the first three of the four Gospels in the New Testament. I also pray to God to forgive me of any sins I commit, but not as often as I should. I do live as best I can by the Ten Commandments.
I try not to criticize anyone for their beliefs whether they are agnostic, atheist or any other religion.

a work of art ok, well... i was brought up in the catholic church. I was a little disallusioned with them so i started searching. I have been to many denominations of churches, but have settling in to a non-denominational church called the greater grace church. I usually decribe myself as "christain" without labeling a denomination. I am firmly routed in my belief of the bibleand the lord.Though I do not always attend a sunday service, i read from my bible often and pray daily. Yay! Another non- denomenational Christian! I don't know many of them, so I am glad to find another one like me!

jungleratrob Like others here I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I have become inactive and my views are now more agnostic. I can relate to theists and to atheists as I was raised to believe in God but I have also come to find skepticism and the scientific method to be rewarding in the search for truth. I think that it is wonderful that you still take a good approach to religion. I respect that you did not want to stay in the LDS church. I guess i just commend you for your attitude instead saying I HATE IT its ridiculous or anything of that nature.

I'm a Roman Catholic, and believe strongly in my teachings. I believe that the Old Testament is mainly metaphorical, and that no matter what religion one is, if they are a good person, they deserve to be treated like anyone else. 'Treat thy neighbour as thyself' is my favorite motto to live by.

twisted I agree completely that we should treat others as we wish to be treated meaning tollerence and caring and understanding because everything and everyone is different from us
