Let's go Carroling!!
One of my favourite aspects of the holiday season is all the music. It's everywhere you look... Except here. So far.
Your task is to fill the thread with carrols... Or christmas-y poems that have been rewritten to be... Jokoa-y. It can be any holiday song/poem. It HAS to be rewritten by you. And you can't just replace the word "bell" with the word "jokoa"... That's cheating. And not full of win. Yuh. D:
It can be about certain jokoa (make sure you have the owner's permission, just in case,) staffers, regulars, IC, OOC, whatever. Just about... Jokoa. ^.^ And it MUST be appropriate! You MAY use the same song as someone else, but it does need to be different than their edit.
Length does not matter. CREATIVITY and the ability to adapt it does matter. Please post your submission in the correct thread in the guild (Ulaya Carrol). You may enter no more than 5 times. You may post your songs in here, but they WILL NOT BE COUNTED UNLESS THEY"RE IN THE GUILD.
So are you not sure of what to do? It's pretty easy, I'll show you. I'm assuming everyone's familiar with the whole, "'Twas the night before chistmas, and all through the house..." poem, yes? I rewrote it to be about Jokoa.
'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the thread Not a regular was stirring, they were thinkin' of bed. The Ulaya were placed in signatures with care In hopes that more soon would be there; The ticket holders were nestled all snug in their beds, While hopes of the next day's raffle swam through their heads; And I with my tablet, and Tristan with her cast Had just settled in for a colouring fest, When out on the thread there arose such a clatter, We sprang to the event to see what was the matter. Away to the thread we flew like a flash, Opened up the browsers and hoped the computers wouldn't crash. The text on the background of the newly made post Was grey upon white; the colour of ghosts.
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear, But a last minute try on a certain... reindeer. With a little more gold, they were just in the nick To snatch the high bid ever-so-quick! Less rapid than dial up, the complaints! How they came! Though we calmed them and soothed them and said that it stayed.
The morning soon came, after the night And everything was quiet, all was right. Mobbu and Kalii, Piney and Tsuki, Ferrets and Andi, Tristain and Revi; All had worked hard on this raffle of twins The drawing of winners soon would begin! The thread was all quiet, with the rattle of dice Everyone was kind, all were playing nice. And just before the first roll was made, A last single quip, in ghosty grey was said..
"Happy Christmas to all, and to all best of luck!"

Ooh.. this sounds fun. ^^ I'll do one! To the Jackson 5's version of "I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Clause" because it's funnier than the original anyway. Akori singing about Nan and Thona.. because I can. >3
I saw Nan kissing Thona, (Kissin' kissin' Thona) Underneath the starry sky last night She didn't hear me creep, Around the tree to have a peak She thought that I was tucked up In my bed all fast asleep
Then I saw Nan tickle Thona (tickle tickle Thona) Underneath his chest fur snowy white Oh what a laugh it would have been If Kirara had only seen Nan tickle Thona last night
(He saw Nan kissin, kissin, kissin, Thona) I did, I really did see Nan kissing Thona it was ewwy And I'm gonna go tell, just watch me
Then I saw Nan tickle Thona (tickle tickle Thona) Underneath his chestfur snowy white Oh what a laugh it would have been If Kirara had only seen Nan tickle Thona last night
Oh what a laugh it would have been If Kirara had only seen Nan tickle Thona last night
I did, I did, I really did see Nan kissing Thona. You gotta believe me. You just gotta! Aw, come on fellas! You gotta believe me. Uncle Kemi believes me, right? Aww.. come on..

Oh, the weather outside is frightful, But this Box is so delightful, And since we've no place to go, Let it open, let it open, let it open.
It doesn't show signs of opening, So I brought some clippers for Sipping; The lights are turned way down low, Let it open, let it open, let it open.
When we finally say Hello, How I'll love going out in the Jumping; But if I really hold you tight, All the way home you’ll be warm.
The fire is slowly dying, And, my Box, I’m still Wait-ing, But as long as you love me so. Let it Open, let it open, let it open.

( *Cough wheez* this song is dear to me.... it is about Mile's emo-ness. 8D *brick'd and starts playing piano* )
You know Thona and Arec and Tulio and Inari, Apollo and Jackson and Grunny and Eeel, but do you recall the most famous ulaya of all?
Mile the Magenta-furred ulaya , had very shiney fur, and if you ever saw him, you could even say it glows~~ All of the other ulaya used to laugh and call him gay. They never let poor mile play any ulaya games. Then foggy rainy day Tani came and said. "Mile with your fur so bright, go and live with ails tonight!"
Now all the other ulaya love him as they pointed with glee. "Mile you'll go down in history~"

Silent thread, holy thread, All is calm, all owners in bed Round yon Ulayan mother and box. Holy box, speckled like chicken pox, Dream like a Vraireve, Dream like a Vraireve.
Silent thread, holy thread, Ulayas quake at the sight overhead; Events stream from Jokoa afar, Heavenly colorists color lineart! The Ulaya in the box is born, The Ulaya in the box is born!
Silent thread, holy thread, Son of a God, love’s pure light; Sparkles gleam from Thy light blue gem With the dawn of a God spawn, Ulaya, seer, at Thy birth, Ulaya, seer, at Thy birth.
Silent thread, holy thread Wondrous seer, lend thy light; With the Vraireve let us dream, May our futures beam; An Ulayan seer is born, An Ulayan seer is born!

Andi Got Ran Over by Ulaya
Andi got run over by Ulaya Walking home from Jokoa Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Dreamers, But as for me and Kiya, we believe.
She'd been drinkin' too much egg nog, And we'd begged her not to go. But she'd left her medication, So she stumbled out the thread into the snow.
When they found her Christmas mornin', At the scene of the attack. There were paw prints on her forehead, And incriminatin' claw marks on her back.
Andi got run over by Ulaya, Walkin' home from Jokoa Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Dreamers, But as for me and Kiya, we believe.
Now were all so proud of Kiya, She's been takin' this so well. See her in there watchin' Thona Drinkin' nog and playin' games with son Raziel.
It's not Christmas without Andi. All the thread is dressed in black. And we just can't help but wonder: Should we open up her boxes or send them back?
Andi got run over by Ulaya, Walkin' home from Jokoa Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Dreamers, But as for me and Kiya, we believe.
Now the goose is on the table And the pudding made of fig. And a blue and silver candle, That would just have matched the hair in Andi's wig.
I've warned all my friends and gaians. Better watch out for yourselves. They should never give a license, To a man who drives a sleigh and plays with elves.
Andi got run over by a reindeer, Walkin' home from Jokoa Christmas eve. You can say there's no such thing as Dreamers, But as for me and Kiya, we believe.

Stupid bells ring, please stop dinging. And that noise, you call it singing? Its a beautiful sight, Apart from that guy. Walking in a winter time event. Grown so fast is the black box, Hope there's never new box He made me a drink, This is getting bad, I think, Walking in a winter time event. In the meadow we can build a snow ulaya, Then pretend that he is Parson Orez He'll say: Are you married? We'll say: No way on earth, But you can do the job When hell freezes over. Later on, I'll conspire, As he dream by the fire To face with straight face, The plans that I've made, To put Amphetamine in his place. In the meadow we can build a snowuyala, And pretend that he is Panda-chan We'll have lots of fun with mister Panda, Until we get bored and knock him down. When it snows, ain't it like drilling, In your teeth to get fillings. We'll frolic and play, the unfriendly way, Walking in a winter time event. Walking in a winter time event, Walking in a winter time event. "Walking in a Winter Wonderland" As preformed by Hitomi, with references to her hatred at the thought of being lifemated to Amphetamin and an RP reference about how he slipped something in her drink. xD;; <333 Sorry if I missed the deadline. >w>"

Gone away is an auction, Here to stay is a new one, We all bid a a lot, To brag on what was bought, While we dance in a Jokoa Wonderland.
In the Guild we can build a story, And pretend that Blitzen is a clown We'll have lots fun with Mister Blitzen Until all the Ulaya babies tire him down.
A new Event, aren’t you thrilled, In the thread and the Guild We'll chat and play, the Ulaya way Dancing in a Jokoa Wonderland. ...Won't You Guide My Sleigh Tonight?
