Second, I really don't care if we disagree...that’s not the point What gets me is that you had the nerve to tell me I'm not Jewish It wasn't until you put up your wall o bibles and started to tell me who I am that I thought you were closed minded And I'm closed minded for thinking that Take two chill pills and call me in the morning when your feeling better ok i didnt say you werent jewish. i disnt say who YOU were, i dont know who you are, and fankly i dont care. i havent taken anything you have said personally, because i am resting sure in who i am, a person you have no clue about i was going off of information that you gave- you yourself said that you were jewish by blood, pagan by choice- ok fine be whatever you wanna be, i also have been argueing from the bibole this whole time- you just dint realize it until i started quoting it. before you assume a person is closeminded, get to know them truely. i dont really care what you think about me, i simply want to save you the energy it takes to put that much thought into me. Didn't we have a long chat about your childhood? God made us all, so we're all children of God, all capable of love. But most likely Jesus is talking about his love the Agape love, or the brotherly love.

I am so impressed and also thankful that so many of you know so much about Christ. I hope that I will be able to copy that geneology lesson when my ink arrives in a day or so. I have learned a lot! God Bless!

dragongirl42391 Ok so here is the verses in question: 1 John 4:7-8 "Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and know God. But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love." NLT Translation Pretty powerful verses, at least I like them anyway. But I have a question: The verses says that anyone who loves is a child of God. Does that mean anyone who loves at all will choose Jesus/be saved ulitmately? What about the people who don't? Please help, I just don't have enough insight to see the Truth in this verse.
"Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God." Okay, lets start there. God loves us sooooo much. I mean, goodness, he gave his son for us! For us! Now thats alot of love! And just in that way that he loved us, he wants us to love one another. You know that one verse that says "love thy enemy"? Mmm-hmm. He meant them too. Without love...well, just turn on the news and you see what this world has come to ;_;. So we need to learn to look beyond the hate and love one another. We cant focus on each others flaws cause we all have them. And God knows everything that wrong with us and he still loves us! So who are we to not love what God has created?
Second part, "Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God." I believe what this means is that anyone who loves God and their fellow men loves God. And why do people that love know God? Because God is Love. If you can look past hate and learn to love whats around you, you are already one step closer to God. That is exactly what God does. Now, you cant just love peope and not love God. And you cant just love God and hate people. The third part explains this:
"But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love." How can you love God and hate at the same time? If you hold any hate in your heart, then your heart is far away from Gods. God was able to look past all of our sins and love us. So what is wrong with this world? So much hate, violence, racism, evil, THIS is the results of hate. We need to hold on to our faith and keep if far from hate.
Gods heart is full of love. And thats how he wants our hearts to be.
