Syx shot her blaster again as the last of them ran out. She twirled it around her finger with a cocky smile and slipped it back into the holster. "No one clears a room like a pissed off Shirley Temple." She headed towards the door herself, but stopped as the sound of a whimper caught her attention. She turned around and moved back towards the bar, noting a young boy huddled beneath the counter. "Aw damn." Syx muttered. "Come on kid, we don't have time to waste." She reached down and pulled him from beneath the counter by his arm.

The Kid jumped up and pushed past her, knocking the marshal backwards into a stool. The kid ran out in a panic out the doors, while Syx banged her head against the counter and cursed, her hat flying off in one direction and her gun skittering into another. She grabbed the curls on the back of her head, her hand filling with a bit of sticky warmth. She swore and pulled herself up from the ground and grabbed for her hat, still a little shaky.

As she stood up, the torpedo exploded outside the hull, shaking the entire area. Syx fell back onto the ground and swore again. She pulled herself up a second time and dived for the blaster on the ground.

The loud screeching noise to follow was unmistakable. Syx looked up at the metal wall in front of her, and watched as the tip of the Erebus' tooth slipped inside.

Syx stared as time seemed to slow, and it occurred to her she had only a few seconds before she died. She didn't scream, screaming would have wasted time and been slightly redundant. For a moment she considered singing a song, but instead, the Marshal, Syx "Shooter" McClairy, twirled her blaster in her hand before slipping it into the holster.

The wall began to grown and collapse.

Syx flipped her duster hat over the brown curls, tilting the edge low over her eyes one more time. She reached for her cards but a cold hand gripped her wrist.

With a screaming sound the hull was pulled open, a vacuum pulling everything towards it with extreme force, swallowing up all that remained in the room.
