Silver slowed to a landing, walking into the woods that apparently held Riven and Ghlyssa's house. His step was slow and ponderous, as if he had a heavy load on his shoulders, and his eye was bloodshot from all the crying and staying up all night. Walking up to the door he saw, he knocked, 3 times, heavily.

A few moments later, the door opened to reveal Riven, flanked by Biome. The spirit Fa'e relaxed when he saw Silver. "Hi," he said, as the Fandangle coiled away, back into another room once it was obvious there wasn't any problem. "Sorry about the, uh, security... ever since Prom, well, you were there... yeah." He cleared his throat, awkwardly, noticing the look on Silver's face. "What's wrong?"

Sagging slightly, Silver closed his eye. "I'm afraid i'm the messanger of more bad news then. Sire's dead. He committed suicide last night in the forest, and died in my arms." Silver's ears drooped down, as did his tail as he leaned against the doorjamb, completely drained of any energy he had left, fighting just to stay upright.

Riven stopped moving, stunned. "Dead? D... wh... HOW? What's suicide, does it have anythign to do with Chaos?" Riven's fists clenched.

Silver slumped to the floor, sitting against the doorjamb. "Suicide means he killed himself." Silver buried his face in his knees. "I came by to ask you if you would help me prepare for the funeral to lay him to rest." He looked up at riven from his sitting position, eye entreeting as his ears stayed down.

"Killed... himself?" Riven stared dumbly at Silver, not sure what to think. How could anyone...
A small, babbling voice in the back of Riven's mind kicked in, then. Sire had lost his Guardian, it wasn't that surprising, was it, no, really... "Shut up," Riven whispered under his breath, then sat down next to Silver with a thump. "I... I will help... Silver..."

Silver reached out, patting riven on the shoulder. "Thank you Riven. I just don't think I can do this on my own. Not alone, no." He stared down at his hands, looking at the bloodstains on the fur of his right forearm, twining around it in a pattern it seemed. He struggled to stand, helping Riven up as well, closing his eye. "We have to all be strong for each other in this time of sorrow. I can offer only two things in support. One, Sire is with Dragon, his guardian now, and two, from even so great a tragedy some good can come, though it can be hard to see."

"I.. I'm sure..." Riven managed, still not sure how to think or feel about this. He'd never had anybody DIE before. What did you DO? Tears? Scream? What? "What can I do to... to help?"

"I, I just need help getting word out to all the fa'e, and i'd like you and Shina to say something at the funeral." He shook his head, looking up at the sky. "I want to see him laid to rest as soon as I can arrange it. Devi's helping me also." He sighed, shaking his head yet again, waiting to see what Riven would say.

"Well, I can... do whatever you need." Riven shook his head, still stunned. "Silver, I... I'm sorry..."

Shaking his head, he just gave a shaky smile. "Don't be sorry Riven. This isn't your fault. In no way is it your fault. I have to go now, and get some sleep. I've been up since early yesterday. I stood virgil over his body all night at the HQ." He shook his head. "I'll be in contact with you. I want to get the funeral done with and be able to lay him to rest by the end of the week." He gave a shakey bow, and stumbled a little as he turned to head out of the forest and home to sleep.

Riven stood in the doorway and watched Silver go, then turned around, shaking his head, his emotions a muddled tangle, and closed the door.
