LOVE, the movie. I got up at 4am this morning to go and get it and I have been watching it since.
The Special Features DVD is TO DIE FOR.... or kill for. Your choice. Hehe. The extra scenes are great and the in-depth behind the "magic" stuff is every HP lovers dream.
Oop, it's back on. Gotta go. SEE YA! *flees from computer, leaving a trail of dust*

Order of the Phoenix is my favorite of the books. The movie didn't do it justice. I was very disapointed with the movie. I don't plan on buying it.

I really enjoy the movie as a movie. I go into watching them accepting that they are going to be different, whether for clarity or time restraints.
As an interpretation of the book, well...it's better than some of the others, that's for sure. I'm just a bit disappointed that some of my most loved parts of the book are completely cut out.
I bought the DVD and I look forward to watching it again tonight!
Oh, and I wonder if anyone else noticed this, but when Arthur is back with his family, he has a paper crown on, and I wondered if maybe the purpose of this was to make a small nod to the exclusion of the beloved "Weasley is our King" sections of the book. I'm not sure if anyone else looks at it that way, but I always do, and it makes me smile. ^^

I fell in love with the film. It was wonderful. The first film will always be my favourite (don't they all look so small and cute!) but this one was still a thing of beauty.

I'd say it's the best so far. Of course they took out stuff because it's a movie, which I understand, but still get a bit pissed off over it. The one thing which just pisses me off is of course the way Sirius dies, but they had to do that because it's a movie and it makes it more dramatic and obvious. Thumbs up.

I thoroughly enjoy the movie despite all the ridiculous and often, I feel, pointless changes and departures from the book, but I don't know, the special features, seemed a bit flat. They had a walk along with tonks, and we see her for about five minutes in the film. But I did love seeing Matthew Lewis playing cricket (I think it was cricket) that made my day! They really need a commentary for the film and more explanation of sets and costumes, and an in depth interview with Nicholas Hooper I would have adored.

The movie was great. I loved it the first time I watched it in the theater and love it even more on the DVD. (Even if some parts really pissed me off. stressed ) Haven't been able to look at the special features much, but what I saw I liked. You know, I think I might go watch them now.... *slowly slinks away from the computer*

SaphiraJade I loved Trailing Tonks, but I wished there were better deleted scenes.....*sigh* I rather agree, the deleted scenes were a bit.. bland. I must say though, as i didnt before. I love the scene with Ron and Hermione and Harry after he kisses Cho. The eye contact and gestures and te awkward laugh between Ron and Hermione, and the confused/ knowing look from Harry. This scene is just perfect at reflecting Ron and Hermiones relationship, I think it is beautiful and the best scene in the movie. I once had it on repeat and watched it about fifty times. It's perfection.

Josephine Falnor Order of the Phoenix is my favorite of the books. The movie didn't do it justice. I was very disapointed with the movie. I don't plan on buying it. I agree with Josephine. I did not think the movie was quite up to par with the other moies that had came out previously. I do happen to own the movie though. I just do not watch it.
