My art is mostly digital. =3

I looovvveee art so much. xD I'mma get an art degree whether me mum likes it or not! Even if it means I have to live in a cardboard box in Chicago!!

My government class had a discussion about how Oprah is supporting Barrack Obama... And how we can now guarantee that he'll have millions of women voting for him just because of Oprah.

But I was so distracted by today's little thing because it was about abusive relationships.

you know oprah rules the world

On the opera subject my freinds and I had a similar conversation.. Which quickly turned to how scary it would be if Opera ran for presidancy..

You know how she announces things on her show? like when she goes "Joooooohn Tra! Voltaaaaaaaaaaa!" Yeah, imagine that, in a goverment forum, like I don't know, the senate or even abround like in the UN.

" And now I want you to aprove my Woooooooorld! Domiiiii! Natioooooooon! Biiiiiiiill!" (and the women of the world would cheer for her, just out of habit from the evil infulence of the show.)

On the subject of your art, I was curious about your rubberblock print. Is there story behind that? you know cause a picture's worth a thousand words..

Yeah, well... I was in a very serious relationship with someone at the time, and we are still head-over-heels for eachother.. And I saw a picture in a magazine advertising engagement rings... And I dunno.... I saw myself and my boyfriend, Alden in my mind. So I kinda redrew the people and then just free-handed the swirls in the background while I was carving because everything else was carved strategically, while I just had a ton of negative space... With the swirls, it kinda gave the magical aura I always felt swirling around Alden and I.

It wasn't exactly intentional, but that's what happens when I just let my hands fly on their own.
