I gaze at the lake, mirroring a twin
I'm looking out while she's looking in,
we both see a reflection of what I used to be
except for the fact that now neither of them is me
The water is clouded by a tear t'was shed
A tiny ripple from where my emotion spread
The sobbing has faded, and the water is clear
now all thats left is confusion and fear
what has become of your sweet little daughter
how in the world did she become a cutter
How, standing here now, after all she's worsened,
can she still really be the very same person
who's spent her days volunteering at the shelter
trying desperately just to make her world better
One minute she finds out about the prognosis
and suddenly she can't seem to function since the diagnosis
wasting away without a plausible reason because
she's noticing over and over again all her flaws
Why can't she realize there's nothing wrong
and know that she really does belong

-edit- I wrote this in a different guild. SO its not really that emo. But oh well =/. I wrote it in a bipolar moment, and it doesn't make that much sense, but enjoy.
