Nabooro smiled at his mate.
Noryu started pondering. What stories did she like? She couldn't say she had heard many before but she knew what she loved out of life. She looked up at Haruko and said, "I think I would love a love story. Something unusual..."
Nabooro looked at Noryu intriguingly, "How unusual? Love between a dragonfly and a squirel unusual? or what?" Nabooro made himself giggle but he was interested in the answer.
Noryu giggled also, "Love of a rodent, why not, but I was thinking more like love that makes you fly, literally..." She smiled and was excited to hear Haruko's tale.
((bwaah I can't wait for Haru and Naboo's pups whee ))

(( Same. =3 Do you know what's going to happen though? Since Roniel can't work anymore... ))
Haruko smiled. She had just the thing for a story like that. "Oh... I can work with that. What kind of rodent would you like though? Before I start..." The plot and characters were already forming in the story teller's head. Yes, she knew exactly how she was going to go about telling this story.

Nabooro observed and smiled. He loved seeing Haruko go about with her story telling. He was rather excited to hear her story.
Noryu smiled at Haruko then looked down at the ground to think of a rodent. For a while she pondered until she finally knew which critter she wanted Haruko to use. "A mouse." She said, loving the idea of tiny scurrying animals. She then sat down and waited.
((Ami told me she would do it... I don't know when though... I'll pm her again))

Haruko cleared her throat and began the story. "Once there was a small mouse who lived in a hole of a dragonfly den. Now, this was a very big den and was the home to many dragonfly. So every night, when the dragonfly were asleep, the little mouse would sneak out and have a feast on left over berries and whatever else he felt was edible." Haruko paused the story and frowned. "The mouse needs a name.... Any ideas?"

Nabooro smiled when Haruko began her story. Right from the start he was transported to the big den. It was a warm night he thought with a sky full of stars. He tried finding a name, he was certain Noryu would find one first though.
Noryu smiled at Haruko and scratched her head pondering on a few names. "Titi or Mimi maybe?" She giggled and shook her head. "No, she needs a really small name for a very small mouse... Chi! That's the sound a mouse makes no?" She smiled and waited for Haruko's remarks on the name she had chosen.

Haruko giggled. "Chi! What a cute name. Yes, that's perfect, Noryu. Now where was I? Oh yes, now Chi would go out every night to have a feast. He was a very happy mouse, but one day, while Chi was nibbling on some red berries that the den's pups had collected that day, he spotted the most beautiful girl he had ever laid his eyes upon. She had beautiful white fur and a mane the color of the morning sky, her eyes were the color of the golden sun and her smile made his heart flutter. There she sat, looking up at the starry sky all by herself while the others slept the night away. Chi had little idea what to do. The other was a dragonfly of course, so she might see him more as a snack if he tried to become friends with her. What was little Chi to do?"

Noryu leaned in forward to listen to Haruko. Poor Chi, what kind of situation had his heart gotten him in. Noryu gasped, trying to figure out what the mouce could do.
Nabooro chuckled trying to imagine what Chi would figure out was thebest idea for his little problem. "What does he do Haru?"

"Well... He didn't have to do anything. For it was then the female dragonfly turned around and saw the little mouse. Chi froze up in fear and could not urge himself to run, and at the same time his breath was taken away by her beauty. Love at first sight... And the female dragonfly did not attack him. She simply smiled and asked Chi what he was doing up so late at night. Chi opened his mouth to speak, but nothing but squeaks came out... The female dragonfly giggled, but Chi felt terrible. He could not talk to his love..." Haruko paused and frowned. "Now I need a name for the dragonfly... Hm.."

Noryu smiled when Haruko described the dragonfly giggling. She stood up in excitement when Haru pondered out loud on needing a name for the dragonfly. "Oooo! i know..." She started to think up names, "Sally? or Belora.... Oh I'm not sure..."
Nabooro grinned at the little dragonfly, "I like Sally" He nodded and smiled at his love.

"Mmm. Both names are lovely. Will go with Sally then." Haruko cleared her throat and continued. "Chi and Sally spent a lot of time together at night from then on. Sally would talk to Chi about how her day went and would give him some berries to nibble on as he listened. Chi loved listening to Sally. She had the most lovely voice... But he had a sinking feeling in his heart. Never... Never could he speak to her, as long as things remained the way they were. So Chi sent on a quest the next morning. He had heard of powerful beings with strange powers dwelling in the forest. Surely, one might be able to help the poor little mouse... Or so Chi hoped."

Noryu made no sound. She was quietly listening to Haruko tell of the tale of the impossible love. Without trying, instantaneously, Noryu felt the love inside her heart, she felt the anxiety that came with the prison of impossible love, but she also felt he hope that Chi had when he came to a possible solution. "I hope so too" she whispered, almost without realizing it.
Nabooro smiled. He enjoyed watching Noryu become engulfed in Haruko's pretty tale.

We should do a pup rolepaly anyway sometime. I want to develop on Nakia's personality and it would be so cuuute. <3 ))
"Chi ventured off, deep into the forest, to a part where no sunlight ever came to the forest. He tried to keep himself hidden from all the strange, creepy looking animals that gave him piercing looks whenever he had to make himself visable. Here, a very powerful being, an old dragonfly, was suppsoed to dwell. He had heard a dragonfly in the den say he had the power to grant one's most secret desires. Chi bravely sought for this dragonfly, but was soon faced with an obstacle, an owl flew from the sky and swooped poor Chi up." Haruko paused for a moment. She had to come up with a name for the powerful elder and she wanted to build a little tension in this part anyway.

((I agree bout the pup roleplay... we'll have to pretend they still are pups though blaugh ... Oi, sorry for the... extremely late response))
Noryu's eyes were so intent on Haruko and they wouldn't budge. It was like the words coming out of Haruko's mouth came out in images and Noryu couldn't miss a bit. She let out a tiny gasp as the owl swooped up Chi, as if it were the end of his jouney for love. The end of his lovely tale.
Nabooro sat quietly, smiling at his lover, waiting for the rest of the story which was so pretty.

(( Yes~ XD I've done that before with the pretending. It shall not hurt. Well I'm up to start that anytime you are. =3 ))
"Chi struggled and pleaded to the owl to let him go, but the owl refused, saying that it had a family to feed and couldn't let any choice of food slip by it. So Chi had to think of a plan quickly... And he did. Chi decided to make a bet with the owl. He told the owl if he let him go, he would return to him in five days if he couldn't become a dragonfly. The owl laughed at the mouse since his claim sounded crazy, but added that he'd keep a sharp eye on the mouse. The owl put the mouse down and the deal was made." Haruko smiled a bit to herself. She had just put in a ltitle twist to the story she had not been expecting to make.
