So, Strings of Destiny's post (thank you) got me thinking. I mean, what if something happened to Bella? Do you think any sort of peace would last between Edward or Jacob? Or...do you you think they'd just go ahead and do each other in?
I'm sorry, I put that really callouslly, I mean, of course I don't actually want any of them to die, but..you know...what if?

i'd say....that edward wouldn't kill jacob...however if jacob were to do anything stupid, like agitate edward, he would rip him apart because of his grief and anger for the loss of Bella....but maybe before that his concious would kick in and tell him that Bella loves Jacob, and wouldn't want anything to happen to him, so maybe he would not kill him whatsoever...

After reading Eclipse, I don't think Edward would kill/hurt Jacob.
Jacob might try and kill Edward, but Edward would spare his life because that's what Bella would want.
And I think that both Edward and Jacob would want to off themselves if they lost her. (Not to, you know, put a damper on the subject or anything)

I just realize that I never actually said what I thought would happen...okay...well, I think Edward would be just as likely to attack Jacob as Jacob attack him...but I'm just basing that off Edward's behavior in Eclipse. I don't think he'd be above it. No, I'm not an Edward hater, but I'm not blinded either. I don't think it'd be his fault either. I mean, there's no telling what anyone would do with their loved one gone. You know what I'm saying? Edward could be so tightly strung and...disraught...that he'd be completely unpredictable. 'Course I'd say the same for Jacob.

Well..if anything did happen to Bella, wouldn't Edward kill himself? I wonder if he'd let Jacob kill him..

I'd say it'd have to depend on the situation of how Bella died. There are way to many possiblities that could happen. Jake and Edward might work together to get revenge, end up killing themselves (hey, Edward wanted to try before), or yeah, they might try to kill each other. That's a very good question... eek

heart i totally agree with Tink here... well to a point. i don't think they would kill eachother. Edward (as we have witnessed in New Moon) will try to do the deed, i think. But as for jacob i feel a little different. Just hear me out. Jacob hasn't imprinted with anyone just yet. so who is to say that he wont imprint before anything (if anything) happens to bella? Now IF she were to die before he impronted... well i don't want to think about that because he's my favorite sweatdrop

I think as we all should well know by now that if something happened to Bella, Edward would go off himself. There for solving any potnetial problems between a fight with jacob and edward. becase edward would be dead too.
