Modest Fall seemed to be having it's glory taken by Winter, as the climates and enviroment changed. The well dense forset was changing from a jacket to a coat, as Evergreen bristles became more hardened, and maple's accompanied by Oak's, were nued and ready for a long slumber. The ground was covered in the foliage of the sheded tree's, with a aray of crimson and brown.

Raphael, a strong outgoing Foxtaur, bounded through the adjusting forest, singing in a booming tenor voice. Birds that were twittering about on the ground, pecking at bits of food, would bolt out of the way as he approached, shouting random insults in there melodic voices. His snow white hair fluttered in the wind as he sang strong and proudly, running about, carelessly. His arms waved in random directions as he addressed the beauty of nature, complimenting it in song, making it up as he went along. Random animals would look up to this odd site, and watch for quite some time. His blazing eye's were closed, his head tossed back, since he knew this forest rather well.

The cool breeze lifted the golden cattaur's hair and she slowly opened her eyes to look about the trail. In her hand was a small satchel that was covered in colorful beads and frills. However with the lack of plants due to the coming of winter it was for once empty. Still, she didn’t care as long as she had an excuse to get away from the meadow and to have some peace and quiet to herself. Except for one thing…there wasn’t quiet. “Hmm?” Willow peered through some bushes to find the source of all of the singing. Grass, dry from the recent lack of rain crackled beneath her paws as she carefully moved forwards to the blur that was approaching. She blinked and her golden eyes adjusted on what seemed to be a foxtaur who was moving about in a very odd manner. She spotted a stray root sticking up in the middle of the path, right in his way. “Be careful!” Willow stepped back, had she really called out to a stranger? But it was better than him tripping, she decided.

His ears perked, and his singing ceased abruntly. Looking to the source of what caused him to end his merryment, he in the last second, stopped immideatly, the root right ubove his front left paw. The immideat stop caused his momentum to make him sway back a bit. Blinking, he looked to the female Cattaur. Registering in his mind, that it was indeed a female, (a cute one at that), and a Cattaur. Quite a double bonus for him. Smiling rather widely, he stepped accross the root, and chuckled rather merrily.
"Why thank you kind ma'am." He said to her in a deep, slightly English accented, voice. "And whom is it that I might be thanking?" He asked, smiling.

Willow moved forward just a bit due to her fascination of the foxtaur's voice. Doing a slight bow she replied with a hint of a smile, "It's Willow." She whispered before rising back up. "And may I know whom it is that is thanking me?"
She took the time to look at the foxtaur...the only other foxtaur she knew was Xennek, and he seemed to be to complete opposite in manners compared to this handsome stranger. She raised her hand to cover her mouth which was curving further into a small smile at the thought of the rough foxtaur from home being as courteous to her as this one was being.

Smiling to the cherubic looking Cattaur, Raphael puffed up his chest, and bowed, swiping his arm accros his chest, his left paw pointed. "I am Raphael, dear Willow. And I am truley grateful to be graced to see you on such a day as today." His charming tounge spoke smoothly. Noting her trying to stiffle a rather adorable smile, and his high fetish for Cattaurs, Raphael could not help but grin in pleasure. His brass sapphire eyes memorized the Cattaurs beautiful figure, and it burned in his memory, to be filed with all his other Taur encounters. "It is such a shame I have not met you before, lovely madien." He reached out a hand to her, hoping to give a polite kiss on her hand.

Willow slowly removed her hand from covering her mouth and nodded her head, “It’s nice to meet you as well, Raphael.” She felt her cheeks somewhat flare at his words….lovely maiden? No one had called her anything like that before.
She looked at his hand, confused by his action she took it and clasped it lightly prepared to do a regular handshake. “May I ask what brings you out in the forest on this day?” She was too embarrassed to look at the foxtaur directly, so Willow settled for looking up past the empty tree branches to the slightly gray sky above. ‘It's already winter.’

Smiling in amusement at how she had clasped his hand, Raphael turned the hand, so the back of it was to him. Gently holding the slender hand, he lowered his head, and gave it a gentlemen's aknowledgement, a soft kiss. Raising up again, he tried to look at her sun drop eye's, yet noticed her averted gaze. He grinned, not sure why she would not look at him. Did I do something wrong..? I am supposed to great a female this way...right? he pondered, becoming a tad bit uneasy as to if his gesture was incorrect or not. Spotting that her cheecks were a little more rosey, he became a little concerned. I hope she is not sick.. he thought, his eyebrow's creasing.
Gently releasing her hand, he followed her gaze, putting his hands on his hips. "Well, I always frolick about here. It is ever so beautiful. And I do enjoy looking at beautiful things..." At that, he turned to the Cattaur, and beamed.

Willow looked down at her hands before looking gently at the foxtaur and at his deep sapphire eyes. I wasn’t expecting that. Gently she closed the hand that Raphael just kissed as if to keep some of that warmth. “It is beautiful…” She whispered while innocently looking around the forest, “Especially when the snow comes and everything is cloaked in the purest of white...” The cattaur shook the satchel hanging limply at her side to make yet another point, “Yet it does kill vital plants and herbs that healers like me need. I guess that‘s why they always say to stock up early just before autumn comes.”
Remembering one of Raphael’s last statements, Willow slowly grinned for the first time in a while. The grin even reached her eyes returning their animation and that old sparkle of humor. “I haven’t frolicked in a while…is it still as fun?”

Looking at his own pelt, he chuckled, recalling how many compared it to the first snow. He laughed heartly "This shall be my first snow. I am rather excited." His smile was ear to ear. Folding his rather muscular arms across his bosom, the tatoos that were etched into his skin danced slightly, as they were flexed un-intentionally. Gazing at his forest, Raphael took a deep breath, recalling all his fun adventures here as a young FoxTaur.
Turning to Willow once again, he noted her knapsac of precious cargo. "Herbalist eh?.." he noded in approval. "I have not yet met a herbalist yet, but the job must be important, due to how much good it does." He praised. "I mostly just watch over the inhabitants of this forest, the mountians, and the meadow." He gestured to each area with his head, nodding in each direction.
Her question made Raphael laugh out loud. "You have not frolicked, my dear lady? Oh my, how have youendured adult life this long, heavens knows!" he chuckled, and bounded around her, leaping over dead tree trunks, weaving around live tree's, carelessly and effortlessly. "You must do it. It is the only way to keep our childhood alive." Chortled the outgoing FoxTaur. "Come, I'll show you.." He craned an arm out, as a gentlemen would, allowing the female to take his arm.

Willow tried her best to look at the forest around them instead of the foxtaur as he moved his arms. She blinked several times and finally focused back in on his words and smiled at his praise. No one had really complemented her abilities with herbs in a long time.
She laughed lightly as he held out his arm for her to take. “So we shall frolic now, good sir?” With that and a slight bob of her head, she carefully took his arm. Closing her eyes she willed back the old sorrowful emotions of the past that were even now threatening to overtake her. Maybe just maybe…she opened her eyes and smiled at Raphael, I’ll give having fun and such things another chance…

His arm flexed at her touch, and he was happy when she accepted his offer. Her arm was felt very fragile and delicate under his masculine arm. He made sure to guide her carefully. Chuckling, Raphael replied "Let us, Willow. I know the perfect place." and he guided them through the ever changing forest.
He would walk at a steady pace, not hurrying, for he wanted to spend as much time studying Willow as possible. He always liked learning about people, and she was no diffrent. She smelled of a soft vanilla and flower scent. It tickled his nose in a peculiar way, which fasinated him. He could feel her pelt and body radiating heat onto his, as they would occasionaly 'bump-bodies' as they got around tree's and such. Her coat seemed to be rather glossy and goussemer, the patterns like miniature suns. She is so much like the source of life...he thought, reffering to the Sun.

Clutching at Raphael’s strong arms, Willow couldn’t help but to take occasional peeks at the foxtaur. As a healer she learned how to look taurs over quickly, but this was definitely no patient of hers she realized. He’s the opposite of the gold that I once knew…like a snow covered field, or even the moon that shines at night, yes he’s like the moonlight. She decided silently. Even his eyes are like a crystallized version of the night sky, sapphires not rubies.
The silence was comfortable so she didn’t know whether to talk or not. Looking over she caught Raphael’s glance and smiled gratefully at him. It was a silent thank you that wasn't going to be explained, but it was a thank you none the less.

Breathing in deeply, causing his chest to rise and fall, Raphael noticed some sort of new smell in the air. It was one he had not yet discovered. His ears perked forward, in curiousity. Not only was the air's smell diffrent, but it's texture was as well. It became a little more harsh and crisp. This increased his intrest. Not to alarm the female, Raphael decided to keep this information to himself, unless it turned out to be dangerous. But for now, he just wanted to stroll evenly with this Cattaur.
Having finally cleared the forest, and standing at it's lip, Raphael beamed. "Here it is!" he stated to Willow. He looked down at her to see her reaction to the vast clearing. The medow's grasses were totally coated in their tan coating, dancing side to side, with their favorite partner, the wind. It was a sand like ocean.

Willow sniffed in the air, but without realizing it paid no attention to the new smell. Stepping in sync with Raphael she was somewhat spacey at the fact of this happening and was also busy peering around at this new area.
But her eyes opened wide with delight at the sight of the clearing, “It’s amazing!” She whispered softly with pure joy. Smiling widely now that she had decided on having fun, “Shall we?” She tugged gently on his much stronger arm and pointed out to the clearing. But then her face slipped into a slight frown, “I don’t know if I can frolick right anymore.” She stated half teasingly.
