I love Order of the Stick. It makes fun of D&D alot, and has a good plot as well. If you start reading it, be warned, it has over 500 pages. Like this comic? Any other D&D comics you like? Lets get a whole discussion going!

Nuklearpower.com has the "8-bit theater" comic strip that is several hundred pages long, making fun of the final fantasy game with real charecters from the first game. It also touches on dungeons and dragons once in awhile, watch red mage for references, he's always good for those wink
Order of the stick is also a worthwhile comic. The drawing is, in my opinion, subpar to the 8-bit theater, but equally as funny.

Well, it's definitely more plot than funny, making it different than nuklear power. Speaking of which, it's saturday! *checks comic*

to speak of D&D comics, i really enjoy the Fogotten Relms: the Legend of Drizzt comics from R.A. Salvatore (i personnally have read EVERY novel from R.A. Salvatore, whom has actually never played D&D but still made three of the most awesome fogotten relms characters: Drizzt Do'Urden *the pimp daddy of Drow, and whom is speculated to be the chosen of Lothe*, Artemis entreri *Drizzt's biggest rival and arch emimy, while still being a cool dude... dispite not loosing his virginity till he was in his late 40's* and Jarlaxle Baenre * the most powerful Drow male who isn't an exile in the Menzoberranzan, unlike Drizzt ), which are all out now

I'd heard many complaints of Drizzt clones but I don't think they stand up to Drizzt himself after reading the first novel. He's angsty and rebellious... but it's completely justified, genetically and developmentally.
See, Drizzt's dad is neutral, not evil, and sheltered Drizzt from the evilest parts of Drow society for as long as he could, allowing Drizzt to turn out good. If Drizzt hadn't been so sheltered... he might have turned out neutral, like his dad. Man, but can they both angst.
Your typical Drizzt clone has angst and an alignment opposed to hir race based , not on personal experiences. It's annoying to explain that you need more justification than "I've always been different!" It's really upsetting when I'm running a hack'n'slash campaign and a good alignment isn't required to begin with. Why insist on being a redeemer while hanging out with thugs?

well, it wasn't started by drizzt, he is just a shining example of the anit-drow drow. i think the reason for it more lies in the manner of how he basically toppled the higherarch of the drow society, and he defeated a good number of female drow, usually considered the stronger of the sexes amung drow
