So I went on a date on Friday to see the Golden Compass. I was really excited because the books = amazing. I even began to reread the first book to refresh before I saw the movie. (I'm so lame). Anyways, the movie was absolutely dreadful. It didn't follow the book at all. It was like the equivelant of making a movie about Where the Red Fern Grows and using poodles instead of hounds. Pretty sad.

we watched The mist(we bought tickets)
then we walk around to see other movies to watch.

That sucks. I've only snuck into another movie once. My friend and I wanted to watch this swimmer movie (don't remember what it's called) & our boyfriends decided to complain until we agreed to go watch 300 again. stare

It's a shame when movies don't live up to the hype. Anymore, I usually just stick with Gallagher and Jim Carrey movies.
