Ok, Xmas is coming up really soon and I wanted a pic of Roth in a winter outfit. I was planning to do this myself, but my scanner is broken as well as my computer only running about four low-key programs (no Photoshop, scanning software, etc.). I won't be able to get them even looked at until after New Year's.

So, I thought I would advertise here that I am looking for an artist to do a pic of Roth for me. I realise this should maybe go in the art request thread, but I figured that I would maybe get a bit more interest here since the art threads are chaotic at the best of times.

I will pay, of course. Though probably in letters, since my gold tally is like... 1600 g at the moment.

Also I thought that if anyone else had some Xmas art requests, then they could also advertise here. That way any potential artists only have to be looking in the one place. Artists could also advertise here if they wanted.


What I want
- A picture of Roth anywhere from upper body to full length (just not portrait or anything smaller than 1/2 his body).
- Plain white background, as I want to make a sig pic and my only image program is GraphicConverter (So Very Basic).
- Roth in a white or very pale blue fur-lined winter coat with a hood (can be up or down), Chinese-style ties running down the front, reaching to anywhere between mid-thigh to mid-calf.
- Dark pants under the coat (pick your poison... er, colour)
- Any kind of stylish boots that could withstand walking through snow, preferably ankle length or higher.

What I'm willing to pay
I am so not expecting something 50k level or above. I haven't been on Gaia all that long considering (joined, forgot about it for half a year, then reappeared and got Roth) so I don't have 2003 letters or all that much.

I am searching for decent quality art though, prolly around the 10-25k mark. Ideally I'd like to use recent letters (Dec, Nov, Sept), but I'm willing to give up a June letter as well if I like the art enough.

Please reply to this thread. Post links (not the images themselves, please, remember that some people have slower connection speeds) to some of your previous works. Also please tell me what you'd ideally like as payment - either the equiv. in gold or any specific letter/s you think is fair.

*is willing to try, as well* I'll have an example picture for you later, I'm inking a picture I finished yesterday right now. I have pictures ready now if you want to see examples of my colouring ability.

This is my favorite of the ones I've coloured recently. It's in chibi style though, and I'd probably draw Roth in a more... proportional fashion... XD As soon as I finish inking Tir I'll post the picture for you to see.

As for payment, uh, don't care? *likes drawing the Fa'e and has been aching to draw Roth for a while now* 10k is good, or less. I honestly really don't care. e.e; *skuttles off to finish inking*

Edit: Yahaha... Finally finished inking. here's what I drew yesterday (inked today). Tis part of a page for a doujinshi I'm doing. The rest of the page isn't finished yet. XD *wanted to ink that so she could show, thu* I actually CAN do full body, too, if you want. :3

Aylee and Sayuri, both of you have gorgeous art. For now I think I will pick Aylee though. Next time I need a pic, Sayuri, I will ask. Your females are gorgeous, so maybe next time I will ask for a pic of Kali... or maybe of Zayn and his version of Kali from the Kyendi thread ^_^

So Aylee, 10k or equiv. in letters is fine by me. If you show me the lineart when it is done, then I will send one letter then and one when the CGing is complete. That way you're getting paid as you go ^_^

I must see the doujin when you're done then XD I love Tir and Luc (esp. together). Have yet to play 3 but had Luc's identity spoiled on a ML or forum somewhere.

Chinese style ties? Like the gold ties on the bottom half of Roth's jacket (in cert). That style. But with fur edging to contend with down the front whee
