((RP for Allen and Potsupotsu))
Another bright shining day in the land of gumdrops, jelly beans, and sugar coated dreams for everyone. Alright, maybe it wasn't that bright and shining, but it was hard to be down in the dumps when you were surrounded by the kind of delights that left people smiling ear to ear. Even if you saw them daily.
Certainly that was the attitude Allen applied to the situation. No matter what happened you had to work above it and find the bright side, that was how one survived each day. Even if it was raining hard enough to make anyone with half a brain know that taking shelter was the only solution. Even then, under a tree, he'd had to try and drag his hood up over his head to keep remotely dry, hunching down a bit to keep from having a drop fall onto his nose. Which he'd succeeded in for the time being, even if the occaisional drop that fell from the already saturated leaves plunked down onto his head.
Oh yes, the weather today was less than pleasant, but even so. It left a question to be asked. Was the rain as sweet as everything else, even if it was rain? He'd never really tried it. Afterall, rain wasn't exactly something he'd normally seek out, it wasn't pleasant to be completely wet on a cold day, but... now he was curious. Afterall, tasting new things was something he did like quite a bit so why not?
Shoving himself up from where he'd been sitting he edged over to where the rain was falling more freely unhindered by the leaves of the tree and leaned out, tongue sticking out to try and catch one of the drops on it. He must have looked a bit comical like that, trying to catch raindrops like they were snowflakes, but it wasn't like anyone was around. Who'd be as foolish as him to go out on such a day?

What an interesting thing, to be out in this weather. Not very bright and delightful. However, the raindrops falling were something that interested him. Who? Why Potsupotsu! He was one who loved analyzing movement. Only to loss sight and attention to anything around him. He only focused on the movement.
But it was most usual to see him around a lake or something. Where gummy fish reside. But that was only because he hadn't been out in the rain before. Though, he did like it. However, he didn't want to get all wet and sticky from it. So he lied under a big tree, where the rain drops barely touched him. There was another near by. But Potsu lost all focus of everything around him. Not to mention he wasn't much of a social Numa. He did however need to learn how to be.
But, at least his speech had gotten better after he grew. That was something that always bugged him to his fullest. Maybe now he'd be a better socializer... Maybe..

Closer, closer...
He inched out slowly, trying to avoid as much of the drizzle as possible and then- plop! Right on target, then a few more along his face which caused a quick withdrawal into the safety that was cover. A brief winkling of his nose as the wetness sunk into the short coat and he reflected ont he taste. "Ahh, it is." He concluded to himself brightly, turning quickly and heading back toward the base of the tree, which was when he spotted the other numa and something far worse sunk in.
The thought he'd just been seen trying that.
Now, he wasn't really egotistic, but- it was still an embarrassing thought. Afterall, who wanted to be seen as the person with their tongue stuck out as a first impression? Then again, maybe the other male didn't see, he seemed a bit out there, right?
With that in mind Allen made his way back over to the tree before sinking back down, deciding to play as if nothing had happened. And even if they did see, he could try and change the perception the person had. There was no changing the past afterall. "Ahaha-" An akward laugh. "-crazy weather today isn't it?"

Potsu suddenly saw someone coming over. As he was disrupting the movement of the drops. He then began to watch him as he walked over. He didn't expect someone else to be out here. It was raining. He only knew of his sister who liked to run around in the rain. She was quite odd like that.
He watched him walk over, asking his question. "Why yes. Not as bright as it usually is." He said, giving a nod. Oddly, talking back too. I suppose maybe the rain calmed him and his speech. He hadn't been in it much, so he didn't know what to expect from it. He was liking it, but he didn't want to walk around in it. He was a tad bit neat, when it came to his pelt. He didn't want to was it off so much, being really sticky. On the other hand, this Numa looked a bit odd. With all the items he seemed to have on him.

Certainly he didn't fit in with the rain that fell, nor did he match with the scenery much. While everything was light and full of cheery colours he was decked out in black with white to offset it. Honestly, Allen didn't exactly blend in with his surroundings. But wasn't that the point?
He nodded at the comment casting a quick gaze up into the leaves. "So what brought you out here today?" Honestly, nothing more than curiosity and a lack of being willing to stay in had drug him out in it, that and he'd lacked the sense to avoid going near the stream when it was obvious it would rain. This had been the first bit of shelter he'd come across. Which left him wondering if the bright purple numa before him had been caught out for similar reasons. "Not that you have to answer if you don't want to."
He cocked his head to one side at the other briefly. He didn't seem to wet actually, maybe he'd been out here the whole time? He himself was just a bit drenched due to having a mad dash to the tree earlier, so a few blotches of purple showed on the white parts of his clothes, though it was most evident on the white cloth covering one paw. The other was damp too, but the dark maroon hid it well. Hmm, yes, it looked like he'd been pretty dry, or had taken the time to seem that way. Allen, on the other hand, had barely even noticed his appearance. Afterall, he didn't have time to care about being in perfect order every second.
"Oh! And I'm allen. Allen walker." He added after a moment, shoving the hood back with a paw. It might have seemed rude to keep it up afterall.

Potsu stared a the Numa for a little bit. He didn't know if he wanted to say why he was outside. It might make him sound odd. But other have thought him as odd already, so no use in not saying anything.
He scanned the Numa. "You can call me Potsu." He said, pausing before he actually said what he was doing out there. "I'm out here for the rain. I like to admire the movement of things." This was very true. If anything had some sort of interesting movement, he'd have to admire it. From leaves dancing in the wind, to gummy fish swimming about. It was just something random that seemed to have interested him. I suppose you might say it was part of him. As you'd most likely find him admiring movement. If you found him, that is. Seeing as how movement was everywhere.

Potsu huh? He nodded. "Alright, I won't forget it." And then at the comment about the rain he directed his gaze off at it, trying to pick up on just what the numa was talking about.
It's true, there was nothing quite like the way the rain moved, falling endlessly from the sky. But at the same time... it really all looked the same to him. Little darts falling from the sky until they splattered against something, living or not. Prolonged starring, trying to focus in, didn'thelp either. He just didn't get it. Of course, that didn't make it bad, he just didn't understand. "So what do you see in it?" He asked, tilting his head back to look at the purple hued numa out of the corner of his eye, still half looking for the mystery the rain provided.
It really wasn't obvious though. Afterall, all he really saw was sweet flavoured soda plopping down from above leaving a brief mist on the gorund before settling. That wasn't so interesting, or was it?

Potsu knew he wouldn't understand. It seemed like no one understood what he meant when he'd talk about the movement of anything. Every time someone made that same comment, he wondered if he'd find anyone who would understand exactly what he meant. He only thought of that as a long shot though. However, some might begin to understand if explained to, but none would understand when first told to.
He looked over at Allen. If it were so simple for Potsu to understand, why not anyone else? "It's quite simple." He said, as if it could be understood by anyone. Sadly it couldn't, seeing as not everyone have the same interest. "All movement isn't the same. It moves differently all the time. Rain, it doesn't all move at the same speed, have the same size. Nor do they all fall the same way. Just like snowflakes, raindrops are all different, move differently." He said, nodding along as he said it. Not really knowing if he'd understand. They might hear what he is saying, but no one understood.

It probably was really tiring to constantly try and explain things only to have it never make sense. Really it must have, especially when it wasn't that complex in it's own way. While at the same time it wasn't something people looked for, or even saw without training themselves for what to see. Which was why, even with the description and further attention, Allen's only response was to stare until he gave up looking more lost over the whole matter than before. As well as a bit sheepish.
"O-oh." The drops all looked the same to him. Snowflakes danced, sure, that was different. But the rain all looked the same. A constant stream of plips, plops, and whatnot. He just didn't see what the other numa was getting at with watching the rain. Which suggested that maybe it was time to drop trying for now, no sense starring at something when it wasn't working. He'd think on it more later.
"Well... then why do you watch it?" Yes, there had to be a reason for that. Maybe if he knew the purpose then it would be easier to spot just what he was looking for, the differences. There had to be something to this, a trick.

Potsu knew even if he continued to explain himself, no one would understand. It seemed to just be something we were interested in. It seemed pointless to explain as well, but what else was he going to do? "I like to admire their movement. As any movement. Sometimes it can tell stories." He said, probably not making much sense. But it made a bunch of sense to him, and that was all that really mattered to him.
Sometimes his sister would see it. But she was busy right now, you could say. Seeing as how she was missing her best friend, she wasn't much in the mood to do anything. Which was quite unusual for her. But he didn't have much of a best friend, so he didn't know how she was feeling. Hmmm, when would be find someone who understood? It seemed like never.
