I was looking for a thread about this, but I didn't see any.

Did anyone else notice that Sakura's arm bands look a LOT like Sasuke's old ones?

Look in my siggy if you want to see what I mean.

Is this just a coincidence? Does she wear them on purpose?

If it's explained somewhere in the manga, I skip chapters CONSTANTLY because I'm always falling behind, and I just look at summaries of the chapters when that happens.[/align]

Coincidence. Though it's fanfiction fodder - meaning we can always make a story about it. Though it's rather an unsanitary idea, it's also sweet in its own way. heart

.... are you implying she's wearing Sasuke's old armbands? Or just wearing ones similar to his? xD;

I don't think she's wearing Sasuke's armbands since they'd be much too small for her by now, and they don't look like his.
I don't think Kishimoto's really implying anything by giving her armbands... he just likes them or something...

I agree with MooMooJuice above me. The arm bands are probably something that alot of the characters wear, you probably just can't see them on many. But with Sakura since she's a fighter there plainly visible. They might just be protection since they'd lessen the pain of falling on your bare elbow. =P

Yes... it IS a rather sweet thought, isn't it? heart I'd love to think that it was true though. Or that Kishimoto is trying to signal us something. It's a bit of wishful thinking, but who said we had to pay to dream?
