So my main group of friends consists of about eight girls and three boys. The guys are the "nice guy" types who are really cool and stuff. I <3 them. But in a completely platonic way.
Therein lies the problem.
So my school is doing this swing dance on Sunday, and I was going to chill and watch movies because I don't dance. It just doesn't work. There was a swing dance lesson thing that I ended up dragging one of my guy friends to because he needed a partner. It was kinda fun, I still suck, but whatever.
Anywho, one of my other guy friends approaches me later and was all "Wanna go swing dancing on Sunday?" Said yes, because it sounded like it could be fun to just hang out and stuff.
Apparently he thinks it a srs date thing. D:
So now I'm alll QWASFDSFHKSD because he's a nice guy and stuff, and I don't want to screw up our friendship, but I'm not ready to date. Anyone. At all.
And next week is finals week so drama can SO NOT HAPPEN right now.
The current game plan is to go to the swing dance and stick with a group, and try my utmost not to lead him on AT ALL.

Whats FNORD? Why is it in EVIL EVIL EVIL white text?
How do you know he's taking it as a serious date? Did he tell you, or a friend tell you?
If he didnt tell you then I would confront him about it. Let him know you heard he thinks its a real date, and if he says he does, then let him know you think he's an awesome guy and a great friend but you're really not ready to date any one at all. But you still want to hang out with him and go to the dance with him. It may be a little awkward for a little while, but im sure you guys will get over it soon enough.

Wouldn't YOU like to know. ninja
Yeah, a friend told me. That sounds like a pretty good idea. Now I just have to see if I can get over my nonconfrontationalness and talk to him. D: FNORD
