Though I know we're now in Lorwyn, I think it'd still be fun to visit this concept at least. As I'm sure most here know, the Time Spiral block took place on Dominaria, the original plane for Magic: the Gathering, but time is tearing itself apart and messing itself up and now, Dominaria is at the core.

While many should know the story behind the set, or at least get the gist of it from, say, the flavor text, what happens is the planeswalkers on Dominaria are trying to mend things. However, things aren't going too well. You are to take the role of a lesser being and live through the horrors, joys and trials of the past, present and future of Dominaria.

You may come from any time period from Dominaria and Phyrexia, as the two were always virtually interlinked, but please avoid using the following planes, as they have nothing to do with Dominaria:

- Mirrodin
- Kamigawa
- Ravnica
- Lorwyn

Remember, keep it clean and no godmodding. Try to keep your posts literate and as thurough as possible. Try and avoid one-liners, please.

A few other notes: keep it within your color.

When creating your character, if you are, for example, a goblin, don't make yourself white or black unless you have a reason for it in your description and it must be believable. For example, a goblin spy. This goes for weapons and magic used as well. Don't cast a fireball if you are green.

You may also not actually be a planeswalker or similar character NORMALLY, however you may roleplay as them in addition to your own character occasionally. You cannot use ones key to the story, however, unless you are, say, in their presence. This means Mirri, Crovax and Teferi, basically. Also, if you use one of them, use a sort of "timeshifted" or "alternate" form, like it was with Crovax and Mirri, where the ones who were cursed and saved were alternated.

That said, let's get this RP moving!

Name: Damine (pronounced Dah-Meen-Eh. That's a Canada Eh btw razz )
Race: Human
Color: Green/White
Weapon: Born pacifist, but believes in fighting if absolutely necessary. Fights with what weapons are nearby and/or available at the time.

Description: Think almost Assassin's Creed, but with the hood often off. One eye is red and the other is white with a scar over it. He has a full head of long dirty blonde hair that has a tendency to be very unkempt most of the time.

Background: An ex-priest who left his faith when he began to saw things happen that he could not follow as well. His past before then is an absolute mystery otherwise and now, he goes from place to place doing what he can for money and lives in a small home hidden away in the woods, away from society, though he will soon find himself once again answering the call of duty soon.

Damine walked out of the shop hurridly. He hated that shopkeep always yelling and bitching at him, especially about him leaving the Order. He got his money at least. Trying to catch his breath, he walked over to a wall and slumped against it, sliding down the length of it. He sighed heavily and closed his eyes, muttering about how these jobs just weren't worth it. He looked up and stared deeply into the blazing orb hovering over the town.

Name: Calgarth
Race: Dementist mage (human)
Color: Blue/Black
Weapon: His mind, mana, and whatever he could get by his wits.

Description: Simple black robes with a cowl over his mouth. He has short, unkempt black hair and round blue shades covering his eyes.
(Think of Arcanis the Omnipotent's robes with the head of Painbringer)

Background: Calgarth has seen himself through many things. A refugee from New Tolaria after Barrin's Obliteration, he saw through the end of the Phyrexian Invasion. Nowhere to go, he employed himself with Cabal to survive and was introduced to be among the dementists. After the First's death and the war between Phage and Akroma escalated, he quit the Cabal and hid. At the time of Karona's appearance, he was spared of the fanaticism but felt her effects. There he learned the dangers of relying on magic for too long. Now he has gone out of hiding, traveling the blasted and time-torn lands living to survive.

Calgarth looked out of the window of the house he was currently staying in. The sun was bright and cheery, a surreal effect it made on the blasted plains and the small ghost-town village... a result of his efforts. It had taken the night, a simple illusion, four horrors and a double murder to send the rest of the village inhabitants fleeing in terror and leaving everything behind. Those people wouldn't return anytime soon, that he was sure. The resources would last him for the next three months at least. All was well... for now.

All of these things he considered as he sat down for his breakfast. He pulled down his cowl and started to eat.

The scorching sun above was slowly blinding his eyes, but Damine didn't seem to care at all. Merely it intensified his other senses while allowing him the grand pleasure of not being able to see the way the world was starting to become. Then...it began...

The ground, precious soil and earth along with everything it was blessed enough to carry, began to quake. Though Damine's gaze was still transfixed on the star before his eyes, he watched it fade in and out of focus, the air becoming black and glimmers flickering in the alternating nighttime sky. He had no idea what was occuring, nor did he quite care at the moment, though soon, oh so very soon, he would know what sort of fate would befall him.

Despite this knowledge, he did not move, not even when the wall behind him collapsed and buried him under a coat of rubble.
