A POKEMON ROOM
*gasm*
Exactly, with no Mario stage-hogging whatsoever. Pokemon>Mario. I wonder if the Wii's blue LEDs come from that room or the other way around......
True, Nintendo is sticking to the darker end of the spectrum now.....
http://www.smashbros.com/en_uk/characters/sonic.html#movie You know, even though the initial shock has worn off, Nintendo publicly announcing that Sonic would kick all the asses of their own characters (minus Samus, Fox, and Pokemon of course) is still the most hardore thing since extreme bread slicing.

Metal Gear Solid series
I've said before that I really love the story of this series. Unfortunately, I don't like actually playing the game, which, unfortunately for me, needs to be done to see more story.
Crash Bandicoot
I'm even talking about back in the heyday when Naughty Dog was developing it. I just never had much fun with the series, ever.
World of Warcraft
Chalk this one up with all of MMOs that have a monthly subscription. I find paying $15 a month to play a game I spent $50 on to be a little redundant and not very fun.
Halo 2
I felt the sequel took everything that made the original so fun to me (intimate split-screen competitive multiplayer in tight maps, levels designed to be fun for co-op, a halfway comprehensible story, etc) and s**t a shiny, bloom-lit little turd all over it. I never even finished the single-player campaign, even in co-op mode, and whenever my brother wants to play some competitive multiplayer in Halo, I always insist on playing the original. The only thing I can say I actually liked about the game was the newly introduced Battle Rifle, which I felt was very excilerating to use, but ultimately, was not enough to make me love the game.
SOCOM series
I do not see what people see in this game. I consider myself to be a fairly hardcore gamer, but I cannot get a shot in edge-wise when I'm playing SOCOM online. A since that what SOCOM pretty much is, an online multiplayer game, pretty much all of SOCOM is completely not fun for me.

Or the Mortal Kombat series. I think people can't look past the blood&guts long enough to realize what damn crappy battle system it has.
