••♥♥••So, today Toastie went to go check her balance at the bank before going christmas shopping. She pulled up in front of the ATM building, wandered in, and printed out the balance so she'd know how much she could spend on presents.
The number that came out? $1,416.24 o_o Toastie's jaw dropped. That's a lot of disposable income for one little girl living at home, not paying rent or utilities or anything.
So, happy as ever, she wandered off to the mall to spend some of her disposable income on friends and family. The first stop: The Source for some electronics... and here's where the real kicker was. Innocent little Toastie wandered into the store, browsed around for a little, and then wandered past the laptops. Brand new, top of the line machines... and Toastie could just up and buy one if she felt like it. Srsly. Not refurbished, not pre-used. A brand new laptop with Windows Vista loaded into the system, and little Toasts had enough cash in her bank account right then to just buy the damned thing. Without saving up or anything.
It took everything Toastie had to retrain herself from buying it and waiting for her next paycheck to get christmas presents, but on the weekend she's going to go out and see if there are any nice Wacom tablets at future shop that would like a home. :3
._. So lyk, discuss? Randomly finding out you've got enough whatever to just buy something you've been yearning for. Not spending money quickly enough for it not to build up and surprise you.
Christmas Miracles? Wallflower...

I actually have a quite lot of money in the bank, but that's what I saved up for college and all, so I can't spend it...
The only thing I really would want to spend it on is a trip to faaaaar away xd

surprised Hott Toastie.
I currently owe the bank money XD Overdrawing is so ftl.
I rarely have more money then I think I have. I spend it as soon as I get it pretty much XD I should really stop doing that.
When I get my tax return though I'll be able to buy whatever I want practically. Last year my tax return was $400. And I had to save it to pay rent. Which I didnt do, I spent it on little things until it was all gone. This year though I can spend it on something good biggrin And this year it will be big. I paid at least $1,500 on taxes at Payless. I think more but im not sure. And I've paid around $200 in taxes so far at my new job. And I get it all back <3 I cant wait!

Nice...
I'm saving mine, been "saving" for a while (I spend what I need, but I don't really get "wants")... And I know I'll need it eventually, I still live at home, and when I move, it'll be nice to have some fall back cash so I won't be starving... n_n
But, I'd caution against buying stuff on the fly, especially big stuff... do your research and whatnot... and maybe even see if you can't wait for a nice sale somewhere... ^_^
But, having money is nice. n_n

Ezzy has expendable income too. ^__^ She went shopping earlier just for fun.
But Ezzy really wants to blow her disposable income on a small, furry companion... sweatdrop

I have like a total of $30 right now. Plus whatever my parents are giving me for Christmas presents and such.

You know, as Toastie reminded me, the holidays ARE coming up... and I had been thinking of making a fetish video for a little extra cash.
Now, it's kind of hard to find a hairy midget who is willing to swim around in a bathtub full of beans, while a guy with a pig mask pours more beans on them...
But, I mean... not to sound too straight forward or anything... Sib, if you're willing, then... I'm sure we can work something out... sweatdrop ... Just a thought.

n_n Toastie gets direct deposits. Which means that when she gets a paycheck it kind of just goes in... and that's the end of it. Pay stubs come out, but you don't really have to grab them, you're just advised to.
So it's easy to wander up to the bank and go "... holy hell, how do i have so much?" Because you don't really keep track of how much you spend exactly, and it goes in like a ninja. biggrin
n_n Poor nymmie. Toastie has to learn how to do income taxes this year... that's going to be fun. :/
And she gets to start RRSP's after christmas so she can have ONE MILLION DOLLARS after the thaw her... er.. imean... she retires. >> Wallflower...
