late night shows (Leno, Letterman, etc) are coming back soon.... without writers. I think that means the various hosts will be writing their own stuff.
I heard that the crews are allowed to tape and air any episodes that have completed scripts "in the can".... which is why there are a few scripted shows that are gonna air a few new eps soon. It's also why we're seeing a rise in reality tv again (I saw somewhere that last time this happened was when the show "Cops" got started)
btw, for anyone who's interested, American Gladiators is starting back up with all new stuff this Sunday evening Jan 6

I haven't seen anything on tv... Except that House will be back in January.
