Similar to the picture thread, just, for us to share our (lit) menorahs. A sort of way for us to celebrate together. wink
Sadly, I can't get my picture to send from my cellphone to my laptop right now, but I'm hoping to do so tomorrow.

I'll see about taking a picture if the same thing happens tonight that happened last night. The cats came up to watch us light the candles, and they sat there so prettily, like little bookends, staring at the flames and looking just fascinated.

Tonight, the cats wouldn't sit near the menorah. I tried until the candles were almost entirely burned out. The first two were out, and the third was still burning, but very short. But it was still pretty, so I stacked one of our cards and my prayer book near it and snapped the shot on my new iPhone.

I can't photograph my menorah tonight, since it'll be Shabbat, but I may get the chance tomorrow night when the havdalah/Chanukah party kicks in. Macaroni, yours is very pretty. Who's the baseball bobblehead guy in the background?

Thank you. Its an heirloom. According to my Grandma, we had it since that side of the family came over in the early 1900s.
Oh its just some free thing I got a few years back when I went to a Dodgers game with my friend. I dont exactly know who he is, Im not a big sports fan. I spent the whole game playing with my gameboy xD

It's a really lovely menorah. I love the classic styles. It also looks like the smaller oil-cups might fit in it. Next year, I hope to be able to buy us an oil menorah instead of the candles, because oil is the preferred method of lighting for Sephardim.
And by the way, has everyone else been totally admiring Macaroni Jesus's great avatar look right now? Come on, that is some seriously cool outfit-putting-together, right up in here.
