I'm one of those stubborn people who never call in even if they are dying.
Well last night I nearly dyed riding my bike home from school, so when I got home, mom and doc demanded that I take off today. So I did. I called into work.
To be honest thought I am kind of glad. Because knowing how it is, I would have been the one stuck cooking no matter what I said, and then I would have made more people sick. Not fun.
Yeah, on Sunday it ******** pissed me off. I was suppose to have John and the new guy working with me. I told John that him and the new guy were going to cook so I didn't risk coughing on the food.
So what does John do after finding out that he had to actually work? He bails out. he fakes sick and goes home. Dirty ******** b*****d. Now I could've called in on sunday, i could've gone home. But I didn't. I regret it too becuase I felt misrablie. i was full of energy, but I felt like I was about to spill my lungs on everything.
anyhoo. that's one fo the reasons I'm glad I called in today.
So discuss, -calling in sick - coworkers who don't come to work - being sick at work.

yeah i hate coworkers who pull that crap. one of my coworkers at kmart tried to pull that with me and ask me if i could take her shift because she's been throwing up all day. now if that were true why didn't she call in? she just wanted to see her boyfriend.
and yeah i try not to cough on the food at burger king but its kinda hard. that's why after every order i do i have to cough in my sleeve

I hate it when I have the sadistic urge to cough and it's right when I have food in my hand. And it's that nagging tickle in my throat.
