"You are alive!" said Juliet and hugged Akane as if she had been friend for a lifetime.
Nathan was on a dark corner observing. "Sorry." he said shortly but honestly "I must learn to control my instincts." He took his sword and wipped it with a piece of cloth this time.

"I know this scenary." said Juliet "My last day alive." It was a foggy day but no rain, the wind was blowing so hard it almost whispered words.
Nathan recognized it too. "Is this necessary?"
"I guess it is." answwered Juliet.

Juliet observed but Nathan was not strong enough to watch.

Nathan and Juliet walked through the forest and Ryu was watching them from behind, hidden, as his father had told him, unnoticed. When they were deep into the forest, sorrounded by the fog, Nathan stopped walking.
"This is the right place." he said.
"The right place for what?" she answered.
"To talk to you."
"About what?"
"Well, we are getting married tonight so I must really ask you: do you love me?"
Juliet did not even hesitate "With all my heart and soul."

Nathan blushed.

"As much as to forgive me if I do something bad for you?"
"Well that depends on how bad it was."
"Ouch."
"Why? What did you do?"
"Nothing."
"Then why are you asking this weird question?"
Nathan approached and fell over Juliet on purpose. Ryu had now a story to tell his father.
"It's not something I did. It's something I will do."
"OK explain it to me."
"I can't." (if he explained Juliet the truth, the spirals would get activated)
"Of course you can, trust me."
"I really can't." Nathan got off Juliet and leaned down and Juliet sat.
"Will you forgive me?"
"Maybe."
"Double ouch. You can be so cold sometimes." Said Nathan, Juliet hugged him and he hugged her back. "sorry" he said.
"Why?"
Nathan took his knife and pierced Juliet's heart as hard as he could to give her a fast death."For this." The fog made it hard to see but Nathan was crying. Blood started to wet Juliet's clothes, and Ryu knew he had to run for help, but he was too afraid to move. It was happening again, he had precensed the death of six of his siblings, now this was the seventh, and he was certainly not used to it.
"W- why?" Juliet held the knife to take it out, but her strenght was all gone. "Nathan, why are you doing this?"
But Nathan could not explain. He placed Juliet in the floor and as he did her eyepatch fell off, almost as if the prophesy wanted to be explained so Juliet's destiny was determined, but Nathan did not speak. "Forgive me." he said again. Juliet closed her eyes "No. I won't." she said. He waited about five seconds and hugged her, but she was cold now. Nathan could not help crying intensely. The pain in his heart was much greater than Juliet's physical pain. Ryu ran away now that his legs allowed him to. Nathan took the knife out from Juliet's chest, and without wipping it, he pierced his own heart. With his remaining strenght, he made his way to Juliet and hugged her. Minutes later he passed away.

Juliet was ashamed of herself. She turned to Nathan. "I... well...I...I am sorry. I understand if you never forgive me."
"No, forgive me." I could have thought of something better."
Juliet hugged him "You did exactly the best you could, nothing less."Nathan hugged her back.
"Well I guess we should go back to the present now, Akane, if you don't mind." said Juliet.

"We've lived as ghosts for many lifetimes." said Nathan "Don't worry, I don't mind this solid state is temporal. Thank you.
"I still don't get completely why you had to kill me."
"Well, when I realized I was in love with you, I investigated a lot about the meaning of your birthmark. An old and wise lady in my plantet told me the mark was an omen, that you were going to me the next messenger between these world and the other. Then she told me the bad news. It was going to activate when you got married, and it was going to make you immortal and torture you, and if I told you it was going to activate too. If, on the other hand, you died, it would be activated unpainfully when someone sent a message with you. I had no other option."
"So that explains your weird question also. Thank you." Juliet touched the empty bottle of healing potion and it filled again. As she had done it during a terporary living state, the potion id not have do stay in the world of dead. She gave it to Akane. "I know how much the living need it."
