DeceasedVitality Neither...buy my ion. XD 10x sexier than a mini and cheaper. And will perform better. (It's better than a spyder too.) *coughs* "Sorry i was just choking on the bullshit, i have had a ion, and now i own a mini, the mini is better hands down."

... you've never shot this Ion... i've shot countless Ions, minis, matrixes, egos, angels, 'borgs, etc. His Ion honestly out-performs the stock mini and for the price, I'd take the Ion.

Invert hands down. Smaller, lighter, faster, and leaking is not a standard feature.

With a normal Ion, you'll have to dump a few c-notes into it to get it to run at a competitive level. The Mini is competitive right out of the box.

Both are good but have their flaws. For some reason it was thought to be a good idea to stick the mini's reg in the grip and the board where the reg normally goes. This makes it so you don't have a line between your grip and reg but also makes it damn hard to replace your reg if it blows or to install an after market one. Go with a Dye PMR. Same price as the mini but better.

ok ill make a list 1.proto SLG just like the pmr but 50 buck cheaper same fire rate almost same gun Ion simple because good rate of fire tons of up grades durable 2 Ion simply because good rate of fire tons of up grades durable 3. The invert mini why spend 400-500$ on a gun that has the same fire rate of a 200$ proto and you may need to use that more for a better air tank or barrel or any huge amount of upgrades to gun and gear you need to look at an overall picture instead of 1 gun research if you need to

Having used both extensivley. The Mini is an incredible gun for the price. Magnet trigger being my favorite part of it. The thing is a b***h to clean (seeing as the reg and the board are reversed) but its not too bad if you take good care of the gun... I currently own and operate a pmr, no need for a ul frame I got a virtue board and called it a day :p things great but in the end if your serious about paintball you'll get a higher end marker. I'm getting an ego8 (or 9 can't decide) this Christmas as a present to myself.
All spyders doesn't matter which one are terrible. They don't last, and they classify a clamping feed neck as a revelation for them...
Mini is the way to go for now.
EDIT: to the guy above me the SLG also weighs more, not sure if it really does but w/e not a big fan of it, it IS cheaper but the actual playability of it SUCKS... And if you ARE looking into a pmr there are now the pmr 09's do not buy them get the original pmr

If your still looking for good prices on anything i recommend paintball-online, They have insanely great deals and i have ordered from them before. And if they have something more expensive then store price they label it. But i like spyder better. The imagine is a great older gun and is extremely quiet with a 32 degree chamber expansion barrel and even more with a JJ barrel.
