The doll watched him carfully and let out a heavy sigh as he started on an excuse, like she expected him to. However he stopped before droning on anymore. She looked at him curiously and remover her hand from his arm. After a moment of silence he sprang back to life. The doll jumped up and grabbed his hand "Okay! Let's go!" she said dragging him toward the party. "Oh, wait. This is for you!" she turned and handed Bad a present. "I made it for you I hope you like it." she said shyly. Inside was a new black coat, leather in look, but with kevlar durability.

“Oh,” Lullay sounded surprised. “You mean that where he comes from there are no Zora?”
Zelda looked away, her face covered in a rose blush“Merry Christmas” she replied quietly. She stole a glance at him quickly. It took her breath away.
“Ack what is with you two?” 22 called rudely from her perch in the tree above Link and Zelda. “You might as well get this out of the way.” with that, 22 dangled a bough of misiltoe over their heads.

"Must be pretty far away then. He's sure dressed oddly, too..." Idezu said, noting, but not recognizing, his pirate clothes. "It's certainly odd for a man of the sea to have never come in contact with one of us before."
Link's smile widened as the princess glanced back at him. Just as he began to move forward though, the interruption came from above them. Only half-ignoring 22's prodding, he sighed, slowly placing an arm around Zelda's waist and holding her. He raised his other hand up to her chin, gently guiding her gaze back and up to meet his. There was a brief pause before he leaned his head down, tilting to the side just a bit and closing his eyes. His heart skipped a beat when their lips touched, as the whole world around him seemed to slow down.

Ifrit poured himself a glass of the wine he brought, the rich red liquid filled his glass. Ifrit walked outside where Idezu, Lullay, and Jack were; he stopped and looked down at Jack. Ifrit studied him for a moment, "You wouldn't happen to be Captain Jack Sparrow would you?"

"Link what are..." Zelda was cut off when Link raised her face, wich immediately flushed bright red. She suddenly found herself frozen. Before she knew it ther was a light touch on her lips. Zelda promptly fainted.
22 nearly rolled out of the tree laughing "Kiss of death you got there" she tauned and did fall out of the tree.

Link's protectiveness kicked in the moment he felt Zelda pass out, and he instantly moved his other arm to keep her from falling down. Instead, he lifted her frail form up into his arms, glaring at 22 as he gently carried the princess to a nearby bench, and laid her down on it. Kneeling down onto the ground, he took her limp hand in his and placed a kiss on it, watching her carefully. "Zelda..."

Unfortuneatly for Link Zelda had developed a violent way of wakeing up sometimes. She back-slapped Link and jerked upright into a sitting postion, not knowing what she had done. "I'm Sorry Link, I must have forgoten to breath...Link what happed?" she asked concerned and touched the red mark on his face carefully. "Did you get into a fight?"
22 could now no longer breath she was laughing so hard. "Stop!" she gasped. "You're killin' me"

"Aye, I would happen to be Captain Jack Sparrow" Jack said as he found another bottle of rum and proceeded to dump it down his throat
"I never understood why people drink that stuff" Nephi said as he approached the group

Ifrit took the bottle from Jack, "I never understood why either Nephi.... I think that is quite enough Captain Jack..."

"Ow!" The initial sting was tempered by seeing her awake once more, but that didn't stop the soreness in his cheek. He winced almost imperceptibly when Zelda's hand went back to his face. "No..." he started, then turning to glare at 22 behind them. "...but I'm about to start one!" he called out to her, before looking back at the princess. "Don't worry about it. Are you feeling alright?"

Bad carefully took the present and opened it. The coat within was beautiful; the seams nearly impossible to notice. His eyes soaked in the way it flowed, and he carefully layed it down to take off his torn coat. Then gently put on the first piece of clothing that someone else had made for him in years. The weight was comfortable, and the fit was impeccable. Then he slowly folded up his old coat and offered it to the doll. "I don't have much, but this coat has traveled with me ever since the dark times. I once considered it my closest friend. Please accept it from me as a gift."

The child's face glowed so that he might as well have given her a bar of gold. She huged the shreded mass of coat. Though it wouldn't have seemed like much to any other the child thought the gift wonderful. It was warm and smelled like Bad, despite how unplesent that may have sounded, to the girl it was familiar and therefore comforting. She hugged him about his leggs "Thank you, Bad." she said softly then let go and took his hand. "Come on, let's go see the others." she smiled and led him to the party.
"I am fine" Zelda blushed heavily." I think I forgot to breath." she confessed. Even though she was better she couldn't move. Her face was now completely red and she was too embarassed to go anywhere.
"Hey, Idezu, first one to knock the gerudo off the peer gets a trip to Clock town and dinner when we get back home." Lullay said conspiritoriously to her friend.
22 through a snowball and nocked off Link's hat, "Bring it on!" she taunted.

Bad was surprised at how much the coat seemed to mean to the doll and let himself be lead to joing the rest, leaving the rum by where he had been sitting.

"I didn't mean to stun you like that. I just...wanted to make something of the moment, you know?" Link sat down beside her on the bench, reaching to take her hand in his. He sat silently for a moment before a snowball just grazed his head, his hat falling onto the white ground behind the bench. He sighed heavily and stood up, trying his best to remain calm for Zelda's sake. Deciding to pay no more attention to 22's taunts and annoyances, he calmly picked his hat up off the ground and stuck it in his pocket, extending his hand to Zelda once again. "Come on, let's go for a walk down by the water. It'll make you feel better," he said with a smile.
Idezu might've been more cautious normally, but he'd already decided to relax for the time being, and enjoy Lullay's mischief. Extending an arm fin, he nodded to her. "You're on!" He launched it in boomerang-style, a technique that had been developed by a Zoran hero many years ago and spread quickly.
