Hey wat do u guys think about the killing of elephants and rinhos (i know i spelt that wrong) just for there ivory tusks just to make stupid jewelry and other dumb things.....I say its wrong no animal deserves to die just so that part of them can make some stupid jewelry for girls....and i am a girl and hate that they kill them just so girls can have jewelry so anyway wat r ur thoughts on this subject?

I agree that it's wrong. I've seen ornaments like little carved elephants made out of ivory. Whatever stupid trinkets and jewellery they make, it all looks ugly to me because a beautiful animal was killed to make it.

I absolutly hate that people do that......... I mean, to take a life of such a magnificent mamal for something so trivial is wrong! domokun I've seen first hand what happens to those poor elephants(from there corpses, i wouldn't dare stand still and watch someone kill them stressed )........ and its soooo sad to see the ones that actualy survive suffer from those injurys in like a sanctuary...... crying I've also seen the places were they sell ivory..... and I have to say that it is sickening........ burning_eyes

i agree its stupid only reson why thay should be killed ios for over population resons and so one not just jewlry and when you freaking hunt the animal and kill it pleas use all of it you can to honor its scarfice

i only wear costume jewellries sometimes[our whole family doesn't wear only on weddings and parties] or the mostplastic earstuds or sterling.thats all.
i find it v. funni.i mean like of all the things why wear animals?dunt they feel any guilt when they wear it?i knoe that when u wear these kind of things u look rich but its cruel.NO GUILT?NO FEELINGS?NOTHING?COLD BLOODED?

I was in Africa for 3 weeks for Christmas last christmas and I might be heading down there again to see the beautiful wildlife. Anyway we got to visit a santuary and feed the elephants and touch them and all the elephant there were from either abandoned, injured (by a herd, a challenge or hunters) and it was a amazing sight to see these beautiful creatures and to see them used as disgusting ornaments is just wrong I could never wear anything like that. When we went looking around in some of the shops we had to be careful of buying jewlerary from ivory and believe I didn't but anything with elephants ivory.
In some of the game reserves. ((And dont worry game reserves not killing but they call their animals game I dunno why but they do there is no hunting) But anyway they were safe and beautiful creatures. And we got to see so many animals on these game drives.
