so I do not really like tea (yet).
Would lemonade be an alright thing to serve guests at a tea party?

Yes!
In fact, when I was younger there was a lady who would throw tea parties and serve us lemonade instead. :3
She managed to get them packaged so that they can be served like tea (with the tea bag in the cup). It was so cute.
I need to figure out how she did that! D:

Oh! That would be just amazing!
would it be as a powder in the bag, and you soak it in the water perhaps?
I need to look into that!

Lemonade and ginger beer (note, not ginger ale, very different) are very Victorian drinks. I don't know if you can buy it wherever you live, but I recommend Fentimans - properly brewed from scratch, absolutely delicious, and it comes in the cutest bottles ever biggrin http://www.fentimans.com/gallery/super/zyc8ZxYq.jpg - (the result of an evening with some friends :p that's getting on for $50 of ginger beer xd )

I recommend you go for cloudy lemonade instead of clear if possible, though - not only looks more loli, but tastes better too biggrin

Try strawberry tea, pear white tea, etc. They taste nothing like black tea or green tea, just add sugar and they taste really good.

Since it's winter another good option is apple cider. :3

I'm still looking for that lemonade tea packet thing!

I asked a friend of mine if he knew anything about what I was talking about since his dad was a very experience chef and taught him a lot.
He hadn't heard of it, but he thinks he has an idea to make it work. So we're working on a recipe for it (since we assume it can't be bought in the form I remember it being in). biggrin

Wish us luck. We're gonna need it. sweatdrop

Ahem. I can translate.
GRAPE DRANK! alternately "Purple Drank" in some regional dialects.

Grape drank is soooo good. gulpgulpgulp.

On a serious note though, to the OP, I hope you realize that if you don't want to serve tea, it's kind of redundant to call it a "tea party". xD;
