There are three reasons foor this thread.

The first is so I can report what just "clicked" inside my head, and the second has no connection to the first (and little to the guild). The third is kinda trippy.

Unrelated to the guild, for the most part:

Tea. LoBo and I were talking briefly about teas while I was writing my essay yesterday.

What types of tea do you like? Do you like teas with or without sweeteners? Fruits added, yes or no?

more related to the guild:

Infusions in general. Do you make any? What purpose do you think they can serve? Care to swallow your intent?

#2: I've recently become addicted to Starbucks. Not their coffee or...anything they have. Just the coffee shop. As a result, I've been trying our their tea varieties. So far, some of my favorites are their "African Red Bush" with a little honey added, and their...orange tea, of which I can't remember the name. I've taken to decaf tea in the evenings, because of my ever-worsening insomnia. I'd like to start making my own teas, but as a starving college kid, it's kind of out of reach.

I generally don't take sweeteners in my tea, other than a touch of honey with a select few. I'd make a "I like my coffee black, just like my..." joke, but I'm a bit too unmotivated. Aside from the two at Starbucks, my other favorites are Earl Grey, vanilla chai, and pretty much anything citrusy.

This is what I was going to mention if someone hadn't already. I think the reason we don't like fluffies is because they give all of us a bad image. That or we want to hate the part of ourselves that goes against all logic and chooses to believe in magic. Maybe we even hate them because they aren't afraid to say the things that perhaps we all think but don't express because we don't think they'll be accepted.

I don't really *hate* fluffies. I just tend to ignore anything that is hard to read or is obviously based off of popular fiction or I have seen a source considered reputable that blows apart what they're saying.

As far as tea goes: I haven't had a tea I didn't like. I personally like green tea but I had also taken a liking to black tea infused with berries. I haven't drank tea much lately, but I normally don't take it with sweetener. The exception is the sweet tea that is always in our refrigerator (lol, Southern favorite). I can enjoy tea hot or cold, but I prefer hot with the exception of sweet tea. I've never tried making my own teas.

I know different people have different dislikes and such, but for me is unfounded total confidence, or irrational/exaggerated worry, popular fiction related things is a bit more of a peeve too, but I try to reserve myself until a line is crossed thats beyond the acceptable realm of possibilities. More annoying is things like "I'm fairly new to magic, the only thing I can do so far is make my teddy bear get up and take a few steps before falling over". Seriously saw that before.

I haven't tried many teas so far, but I perfer fruit ones, and its been too long for me to know but I think I'll still perfer some honey.
