We'd been waiting outside the bathroom for a good hour and a half now, whilst Ray and Bob took it in turns to fetch coffee, and attempt to cool off Gerard's younger brother. Every so often, Mikey would attempt to lunge at me, only to be stopped by the drummer and guitarist, whilst Molly sat at the back of the bus, her knees against her chest as she watched the charade nervously, not saying a word. I really had no idea why the kid was still here. She was the cause of all of this after all.
Taking a step back, and re-running the situation through my head, I had to admit, I'd been a bit of an a**, jumping to conclusions like that. I mean, Gee wouldn't do anything like that. He wasn't that stupid. He was married for ******** sake! But still... each time I looked at what reason there could have been behind the situation outside, at what Gerard had sworn was the truth, it just seems so much more unlikely. Fidgeting now, I decided to take a break. After all, there was no reason for me to even be here. Gerard wasn't going to come out unless I left, and as childish as that sounds, he was going to go through with it. He was stubborn like that.
Standing up quickly, I made my way past Mikey, Bob and Ray, shrugging them off as they tried to grab me. Keeping my eyes down, I opened the door of the bus, slamming it abruptly behind me, before making my way to back of the bus at the service station. That's right, we were still there, late and canceling one of our ******** shows, because Gerard had kidnapped the tit we'd mowed down. Leaning back, against the bus, I allowed myself to slide down it's tin like skin, before reaching the floor. That's when I heard them talking from inside the bus.

I like the story...it's really good- I would have NEVER thought of it...I guess people don't get on as often cuz they went on summer vacations and school has started again...I'm in college, and I only go two days a week...

"Gerard!"
No reply...
"Gerard! I'm talking to you! Don't make me go all Mom like on your a**!"
Yet again, no reply. Mikey had been banging on the tin door for about twenty minutes now, whilst Ray was on the top deck, trying to calm down a rather stressed out Molly. I was simply sat watching Mikey repeatedly slam his fist against the door in a desperate attempt to get a response from his older brother. He looked so pained, as he tried once more to pull up the handle, but the door had obviously been locked.
"For ******** sake!"
He tried once more, this time slamming his foot as hard as he could into the bottom of the door. But of course, this wasn't going to help the situation. If anything, we'd end up losing the deposit on the damn thing. My original plan was to let Mikey deal with his brother, as I assumed they were pretty damn close, but obviously this plan wasn't working. I had to intervene.
Forcing myself from the sofa, I walked over to the troubled twenty something year old, putting my hand on his shoulder in a reassuring manor. He was so worked up, that he jumped slightly when I patted his shoulder, instantly turning to face me, a look of sheer panic on his face. Something was up...
"What...? What's wrong, Mikey?"
Mikey just stared back at me, his face pale, and his eyes wide. Then there came a shuffle from inside the toilet cubicle. Almost immediately, Mikey's attention had returned to the bathroom cubicle. I have to admit, his sudden movements caused me to follow suite in his state of concern, and before I knew it, I was attempting to peel the door open myself. It was only when I felt the door crack under the pressure, that I let go, and let Mikey finish it off. Soon enough, the door had been prized open, and I finally allowed myself to relax a little. No doubt, this would just be one of those things. Frank and Gee would hug and make up, Molly would be dropped off with some taxi money to get home, and things would be back to normal. With a satisfied smile, I pushed myself from the floor, and allowed myself to fall back onto the sofa behind me.
"GERARD!!!"

Gerard's POV:
Everything hurt so badly. My arms, my legs, my chest, every part of me was throbbing with a pain I'd never felt before. But at least it was something. At least I could feel something...
When the door flung open, my eyes stang as they tried to adjust to the sudden change in brightness. I would have moved to try and shield myself slightly, but my arms didn't seem to be doing what I wanted them to do anymore. The pain was numbing, and it almost seemed like my body was beyond me, somewhere out of reach. I was merely left with a dull sense of consciousness, as I sat under the basin.
All I could hear was a shrill ringing. My ears must have been failing me, and I think the only reason I could tell was because of Mikey. I could see him standing over me, and he must have been pushing my body to try and get a response, but I couldn't feel him, nor could I hear what looked like horrified shouts from my baby brother. I would reached out to comfort him, and to tell him things were fine, but to be honest, I wasn't sure what was going on anymore. So I simply let out a smile, as I felt a tear streak down my face. I couldn't be sure if it was mine or not.
My head was spinning when the darkness finally started to set in. First the peripherals of my vision faded, shortly followed by the more immediate corners. Before I blinked, I caught a final glimpse of Bob, pushing his way between Mikey and myself, but when my eyes closed for what I originally thought was going to be for a second, I found myself unable to open them. This sense of nothing was the best I'd felt in a long long while...
I didn't ever want it to end...
